Күн бұрынJust picked up this Carbonized Grey 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor from Surprise Ford. Yes, we did trade in our carbon fiber 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor for the new Gen 3. To give you my first impressions in text, this truck is MILES ahead of my Gen 2 Raptor. From the interior, looks, and creature comforts.
I will follow this up with a driving impression video, as I want to highlight the fact that this truck drives like a big sedan. Anyone can jump in this thing and feel comfortable.

You mention you were gunna throw 37’s onto your 35 package. Will that fit, without any adjustments? The reason I’m asking is because I own a 23’😢

They fit with no mods unlike the Gen 2

Nice video, I like how it was a continuous take without editing. Did you notice any fuel economy difference versus your Gen 2? I'm currently debating between a 2024 Platinum and a 2024 Raptor but the $20K difference is making it a difficult decision. I would pay 10K, maybe even 15K. Do you think 20K is worth it for a Raptor? I'm coming from a Sierra AT4X which has a nice suspension and interior but pretty much looks like any other Sierra.

I haven’t driven the truck enough without my trailer to notice. If I have time I’ll post my driving impressions. The Raptor is 100% worth it even in a daily driving situation. The only reason if you had the money didn’t want the Raptor is because of towing

@@FunctionFactoryPerformance I tow a 5,000 lb boat 4-5 times per year and a 7,000 lb enclosed trailer 5-6 times per year. I'm not too worried as I do that with my AT4X currently without issues. I find the main issues with towing come from the overall length of the trailer. Once you get to a 30' or larger travel trailer, it's best to go to a 3/4 ton anyways. I also have a dog that jumped on my door panels in my AT4X and my old Platinum and left lots of marks. I think the Raptor door panels have a better material that looks to stand up better to it.

Good review. Heads up display isn't new to Raptor, it was in 21-22 models but due to supply shortage in 23 they skipped it.

The chassis and body were built off the original 2015 truck that was designed even years ago. We’ve had all 3 generations and model updates

Meh, Ford should put the regular V8 Coyote back in the Raptor. That High Output V6 just ain’t cuttin it bud. Speaking from experience here.

I disagree, the torque with the EcoBoost is instant unlike the V8.

I don't ever remember a time I checked out a vehicle in real life where I got down about 3' off the ground, crouched 18" away from the fender and waved my hand around. So why do you guys insist on doing it in YT videos? Monkey see, monkey do?
