Dude I can’t tell you how much you’ve helped me start up my crew of alts. Never multi boxed in any game and it can be intimidating but tackling one thing at a time is making it easier. Being able to unfollow alts is so huge. Looking forward to more!

Subscribed. Made new account thinking my old accounts were erased without a trace. Lucky me I resurrected my two old accounts now I have 3. I'm horrible at tech, pretty much like an ape trying to do calculus, but I'm chipping away a little at a time. Was successful in getting this unfollow follow to work. Thank you for your channel!

I miss this game in started in 2003 and quit 2013 and started back 2018 and quit again in 2019. Life and kids just could not keep up with obtaining the best gear. Your gear look beast, thumbs up.

same boat. not to mention the cost of multiboxing characters for years took its toll. had to set priorities.

Yeah, I get that. Even though XI has made great progress into making the game more accessible for more players, it's still a huge grind and time dedication.

The problem for me is when I try to play other games I get bored too quick and end up back at XI.

Anyone know what to setup so you can hot key your mule to attack what your sender is attacking I'm still bit confused on what I need to do I did a cure one but can’t seem to get the mule to attack

I haven't played since shortly after SoA launch (had a child) and I only ever dualboxed but I actively played both characters alt-tabbing between the two, so to follow I just alt tabbed and had a /follow macro. Then again I had 6 close friends who all dualboxed the same way so there was always someone online to do the majority of the content with at any given time. I'm curious how much setup is needed to play 6 characters and how many actions are done without active input? Love the content, this a window into something I miss very much but just don't have the time for anymore.

Hey! thanks for the comment. Game's still great with a ton to do, especially if you go down the multibox rabbit hole. But I won't lie, it's a lot of practice and work to get everything setup and working not to mention getting all of your characters properly geared, but for me that's why it's so fun. My twitch stream focuses a lot on multiboxing and optimizing it, so if you have any specific questions feel free to pick my brain there.

so been following this and trying to learn. so do you have to have all the accounts on the computer? do you use windower4 profile on all accounts? sorry just trying to learn.

Wouldnt you need specific keyboard setting for this? Like the one that has going back under numpad 7? I cant test it now, but I think for me I would need to have down arrow click in unfol script if thats possible. I usually have some macros under numpad keys.

I shouldn't be an issue. All the script does is mimic hitting 7 on the numpad to unfol which is the game's default way to unfollow.

how do i open to applications at once? it won't let me with windower am i suppose to run one application in windower and other in regular playonline client?

Is the unfollow macro for when you want to make them zone out? After your main character has zoned.

alright so... here's my issue. @others doesn't work for me. I think that's a addon or something all on it's own? and your macro "/console send @others follow (Chararacter)" doesn't work for me either. I had to add /follow the "/" is necessary for me for some reason?

Thanks been doing gear swap for unfollow.... any tips on the followers getting stuck all the time?

Game just gets super laggy sometimes and chars get lost. There's some especially bad locations where it nearly always happens, like the center of whitegate, so over time you learn to avoid those spots.

tried to do this it. didn't work. //send works, but the console cmd does not do a thing---tested the unfollow script. that worked. but the follow I cant get to work. can anyone help?

ok i cant get this to work at all. everything works exept the script itself. so i echanged the code with /echo xxx to see if it works.,.. and it does. so i switched back to the code and it just wont unfollow.... any ideas?

something won;t let me do commands in the console if I open it up and type it doesn;t do anything.. so these macros don;t work for me :(

i just downloaded windower and it only had the windower.exe file. there is not addons folder or setup folder. how do i add all of my addons to the new windower? my old folder is still there but it doesnt do anything

If possible, I suggest trying to tune into a stream of mine, I stream everyday from 2pm-10pm and I can guide you through it step by step there.

Its "working" for me, but for some reason i have to hit the unfollow macro 3-5 times for it to take on all my other characters. Any idea whats tripping it up?

Hmm, it could be lag. Is it happening consistently or only sometimes?

@@EjinCaitsith i guess it was lag, tho it did happen every time. I changed the 0.1 to 0.5 and it works perfectly now. Thanks for the script man, little things like that and the other stuff you put out make multiboxing much more enjoyable.

The follow is an in game feature in vanilla XI, though idk how ashita addons would work, but I assume they have all the same stuff.

It can do some very sketch things which is why I stopped using it. For example if you zone out of a city, it will potentially POS hack all of your characters across the zone.

The best way to follow and unfollow is the addon FastFollow you dont need to do this its also 10x better then normal follow

I've used it, but got worried with some of its glitches. For example, if you zone out of a city, it will potentially POS hack your characters into crazy locations. After this happened to me I stopped using it, even though it's really great outside of that.

@@alakazamworldmap7173 That's old info. Superwarp was patched long ago to fix all of those bugs and be much safer to use.

and yes, POS hacking is something they actively have always banned for and still do, so why would I risk it. If they start banning for scripts I'll stop using them or quit.

fastfollow doesn't play real well with gearswap w/o some configuration (and in my experience, even then it's not perfect), but I do like the fact that it persists between zoning, whereas using the method outlined in this video you'll need to hit your follow macro every time you zone to a new area

@@kizzaht fast follow and zoning is asking to get banned. It sometimes pos hack you all over zone when it glitch. Happened most frequently while leaving Nashmau.
