Looking back at the Classical set from Endwalker 6.05, the corresponding level-88 materials are indeed used, such as Ar-Caean Velvet, Ophiotauros Leather, and Chondrite Ingot. However, there are no pieces in the Classical set to my knowledge that use any 86 materials. However, the Shadowbringers 5.05 Facet set uses materials from levels 80, 78, 76, and 71. (Onyx, Dwarven Cotton, Tuff Whetstone, and Stonegold Nugget) There's no rhyme or reason to which ones are used as far as I can tell, so here's hoping we don't get blindsided.

Solid guide! I'm going to be entirely focusing on gathering this patch, since I dont have the gil to meld all the crafter main/off hands. Time to set up all the alarms for legendary nodes and ephemeral nodes! Also, my gosh is Revisit amazing! Got a proc on an integrity+ timed node and I felt myself ascend lol.

You usually dont have to overmeld all the Main or off hands if you propper meld the Rest of the Gear. I usually meld them just once for the normal meld Slot and its fine.

Bro what are you on about? Food and pots are the main area people use bots for since they're stackable items. People can just load their inventory with materials, and then let the bot run while they sleep to wake up to a couple 999 stacks of whatever they're crafting plus all the free materia from the bot automatically extracting spirit bond for them. Bots don't work well with gear because you'd need to babysit both your inventory and the market board.

Actually, I expect that the Tungsten Ink will likely be used in the smn/sch crafted weapon, as books always use an ink, and it's the only new ink from this expansion. Granted, you should only need a handful of ink at most, even if you are planning to mass craft. Also, while on the topic of alchemist materials, it might be wise to stock up on the 'potion herbs' from both ShB (sweet alyssum, tiger lily, etc) and DT (windbalm, pearl grass, etc). Depending on which are used for new gemdraughts/gemsaps (EW didn't have these herbs, and we just reused ShB herbs). I would have thought that we'd just be using the DT herbs, but the grade 1 gemsaps reused ShB herbs again, so who knows when they'll finally retire them.

Did I miss it or did you not mention aethersands? One other thing you didn't explicitly say but kind of hinted at: if someone is stockpiling the 95+ intermediate materials like ingots, gems, whetstones, etc, they should be stockpiling the HQ versions of those items. This is how you can start all of your two-star crafts with about half of your quality in place, which is absolutely crucial if you plan to use scrip gear or a very "mid tier" meld set like I am using (4863 / 4836 / 614).

nasi goreng very good for the mid tier set, lets you hit 900 GP exactly to get an extra hit in on nodes (next threshhold being the 1k gp rotation with nasi + high tier set).

I'm positive it was the lesser color. Cause current folklore books is purple and I know the endgame scrip was for culinary materials in endwalker. But if you want to be sure I recommend stocking up on materials for both colors.

Master recipes were not purple scrips in Endwalker, they were white scrips. You can easily look up a video from 2021/2022 and see they were white scrips. Master recipes are always the cheaper scrip.

I'm using budget melds until the 30th when we actually know what will be required for the pre-Savage set. If I can get away with crafting it with IX/X overmelds, then I will, it's such a waste to throw expensive materia overmelds into the .0 set unless it's absolutely needed or you're just drowning in gil.

Did the Same. Grade 11 for the normal Melds and for the Overmelds just cheap stuff like piety or tenacity just for the max melds for Bonding purposes.

Left scrip and melded right side should be enough. That's why there's three food options. I'll be figuring out rotation for scrip users.

@@ZaneLionhartffxiv also if you look at the old master recipe 9 alkahest's they didn't use the previous one. So i wouldn't bother making gemsaps but gather the new plant reagents. Edit actually you can farm the gemsaps if your planning on making pots to sell as the new pots should use them if going by previous xpacs

I hit 100 with everything, and didn't even need all 99 leves. If you craft each item for the leves you'll have plenty leftover.

Treasure map dungeons on the 30th so there's one there. There's the bike in solution nine for 7.5 mil. One from orange scrips and bi color gemstones buyable from the market board. Others are player specific like pvp all 100 battle jobs.
