This fight felt more epic than Zodiac for me thanks to the music and Valigarmanda's animation. It's such a majestic bird which has super fun ex.

Honestly thats more on zodiark being underwhelming than anything. I know he is weakened and presumably resisting fandaniel’s control to some degree, but would it have killed them to make it a bit more flashy? I do agree this fight is phenomenal though

For me it was Fandaniel's voice and tone for Zodiark that made me feel it was less epic. I think it would have felt different if it was actually Elidibus!Zodiark.

Lost a lot of confidence after having covid so I never finished the last 3 extreme trials of Endwalker sadly, but seeing the mount and viper weapon from this trial make me want to try extremes again! Hopefully I’ll get a good party to help me find my confidence again. Thanks a lot for this vid, will greatly help

This fight looks incredible, wow. They weren’t kidding about improving encounter design. Also, I think that’s the first instance of having an attackable add while the boss is targetable since E4s, amazingly enough.

Do all of those markers during Ruin Foretold including just random ones in dungeon follow that "wild charge" rule where the front person takes more damage? I never knew that.

99% just split damage, ones like this are usually in Ex and Savage fights. Neo exdeath has one as does Shiva in E8s.

If the main quality of this mmo iis shouted out to be The Story, then the playerbase is right about spoilers. I am from a competitive mmo, and we all try to get the first clear. This trial guide was fun to watch even for an outsider.

@@JayDayX116I'm more saddened that people really rushed through this new expansion so fast just so they can be the first to make videos on KZfaq. These are the things that kind of make me glad that I'm not a streamer, I RP every expansion and will literally look around just to look at all the work put into it. I understand it's his decision to do whatever he wants and play it how he wants. But my opinion of it, is that rushing to be one of the first is kind of weird.

The best part is, nobody knows what they're doing until they learn the fight. Everyone is gonna screw up and die. So yeah, just go for it. Extremes and above are very satisfying to learn and overcome

I have the same issue, and it sucks cuz the few extremes I have done were very fun and I actually did well. But social anxiety is tough... I know it sounds stupid to have social anxiety through a computer screen but I can't help it.

Get gud. Lol Real tips: Learn stress management. Have your rotation by heart. So much by heart that you dont need to think. You need to do dps as you move. You dont need positional in this fight. So just Allways Be Casting. Then its about learning to move with your group. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. No mental gymnastic or trick can replace that. Good luck padawan!

Yes. A lot of hardcore raiders will basically speedrun the MSQ content to be early to endgame. Considering this expac was basically a filler arc I don't blame em.

@@lotharschramm5000personally I disagree. You have a lot more opportunity to move and adjust on rdm. Yes you get a lot on blm however your reliant on your teammates positioning correctly and server ping inorder for AM to be reliable, which in ex and savage I sure as hell hope so but things happen. Ntm BLM is the only class where casts overlap each other, it takes longer to cast to cast your main rotation than it does to cool down, which your going to be dealing with a lot. Triple cast only gets you through so much. You are required to stand still for long periods of time in order to get your damage off. It has been and always will be the hardest class to play because your reliant on so many outside sources. You move once your down a F4 or two and that's a lot of damage your giving up. That's why picto is so popular right now, massive damage you can get off without having to do much of anything. It's ok to move around, you can do whatever you want on picto. Rdm 70+% of your casts are instant, ntm you can instantly rez whenever you want which healers can't do.

DT is the new adventure, new story arc so it wont be as insane as SH or EW, you should treat it as ARR but the fight design like trial extreme and dungeon are the best so far. I hope the raid will be good too

I enjoyed it overall, but the beginning was rough... lots of pacing issues and filler arcs. I skipped most of the tea making and far west arcs I'll be honest... but the later parts were great imo. Overall I'd say it's better than EW which was a snoozefest, save for the post patch content, in my opinion. The fights are great however, no complaint there.

Anyone whining about spoilers needs to get over themselves. The world doesn't revolve around you not paying attention to publicly available knowledge from Live Letters and Patch Notes. Furthermore, this boss literally comes out of nowhere in the lead up to the fight and thus has zero actual relevant story implications anyway. There is a reason this one is named and his EX2 isn't.

It’s a lot better once you start doing the fight yourself. A lot of time you’re just reacting to what’s about to come. Repetition is always the key to these fights.
