@@MattyMatthew-m4o guess they thought 20 seconds of speed was too strong. Which is funny -- I use it more often as a mitigation which luckily is still 20 seconds.

@@Aitherea It WAS too strong;but it was the only thing that made sch compete with other healers. Now he's just sort of a worse sage. They shouldve buffed some of his other tools to compensate, considering the speed buff is literally the only thing sch got in endwalker.

@@MattyMatthew-m4o I disagree! I think SCH is slightly better than sage (although my opinions on the matter tend to fluctuate). Ofc, they have their pros and cons. Kerachole is nice cuz you dont hvave to hope people stand in it. But recitation is an incredible skill that sage just cant match c:

@@Aitherea Recitation becomes more and more worthless the better your gear and therefore your crit rate gets. And sage doesnt even need crit shields cause he constantly puts damage reductions and regens on his party, and for rly strong party wide AOE'S he can just do zoe+pneuma (plus holos OGCD if needed) and heal everyone full, no shields needed. I mean, It's a raid wide benediction pretty much. I've had my friend who co-heals as whm give me snarky remarks because he gets bored because he never has to heal. And then theres also panhaima of course. Most of sch skills are like sage skills except worse in every way, sage doesnt need to hardcast all the time, he gives the party massive amounts of damage reduction all the time plus regens on top making something like recitation completely obsolete. He can give the party shields while hes moving and he does massively more damage. No, sch is just worse in every way in my opinon, and I say that as a former sch player, sorry. The only reason why raid clears used a sch was the movement buff, with that nerfed no one has a sch in their raid party anymore. Sage sort of replaced scholar. Scholar needs a complete rework pretty badly :( Trust me, I want scholar to be good but atm i feel like ive wasted my time leveling smn/sch to 90 considering both scholar and summoner are pretty poop at the moment...
