I mean, if you want to take the crossover events as serious/canon, some of the FF11 event cutscenes seem to imply that they tie the two universes together. So, it's entirely possible that it could be the _real_ Shadowlord from FF11, ironically making FF14 the true FF11-2 that 1.0 was trying to be.

@@ShermTank7272 i mean it was.... they wanted to make a same universe ff mmo and have similar looking races, you could have even did a "transfer" of your ff11 character in ff14 and would be made to look like the ff11 character with first name , and the last name being the server you are from.

I really hope they use Stormblood for a later Ultimate. There's potential between Zenos, Yotsuyu, and Shinryu for a cool fight and storyline, imo.

Considering they already referenced Shattoto via the BLM quests/Mache, I'd not say no to a new cover of Awakening, though the Record Keeper one was pretty fire too. Given the insane amount of QA ultimates require (its why thordan got delayed back then-due to covid they had to choose between ultimate QA and like.the QA for everything else because the QA team took the longest to move to home offices and well,the choice is pretty easy at that point) I think they tend to not be too confirmation happy on ultimate releases,as a lot of stuff can happen when it comes to testing them.

Pictomancer feels super out of place, even in the area's that are colorful (which they no doubt picked specifically for the job trailer) imagine the more grey area's and then out of nowhere "COLORS EVERYWHERE" doesn't look great.

​@@DarkDylloni think its perfectly intended for it to stand out alot, when you're a painter job, its a "fun-vibe" job not an edgy vibe job, so saturated colors are right in

honestly, Pictomancer really caused a divide. you got 1 side insanely happy it became Pictomancer (which I guess for the sake of being done with hearing "it'll be green mage! Krile received a 4 leaved clover charm! it has to be green mage!") but it feels super out of place, first impressions is not good for me atleast, Viper looks alright, I won't main it and likely just get it to max and be done with it, looks another Reaper to me, which I didn't like Reaper to begin with, I do like it's more Zidane inspired, but at the same time, I kinda wished it wasn't a melee again, we got plenty of melee's in the game already, we don't need to increase this amount, honestly, a caster+phys ranged would've made more sense, but I digress. Maybe Pictomancer has good gameplay, who knows, but so far, i'm not hyped for it and i'll get it to max, unequip the job permanently. the memes has been good, although they kinda missed an opportunity of not calling the buff cactuar jacktuar.
