Man..this 24-man trial was truly amazing. The music outstanding. The bosses..all of them have dialogue and I love their personalities. Even if I couldn't read their names or moves. The mechanics are fun..and yes I did enjoy when players get KO'ed. What can I say I like seeing the fails.

this raid is is amazing. it already felt like 3rd tier of the alliance raid series. cant imagine what the next two is gonna be like.

Who doesn’t love that theme for Nald’thal? Also, I think it’s hilarious seeing players run from Thal’s balls. Who wants to bet that was intentional on the devs’ part.

As far as I can tell, the tethers are there to measure your weight. The weight of the soul varies based on how many people are alive in each alliance, so it’s always possible to balance the scales.

I love the pure art that goes into the alliance raid. Where the previous raid, Nier, was bleak and desolate and washed out, this raid is just so colorful and flamboyant.

The Rhalgr fight is honestly one of my favorite fights they've made in a while. So cool.

I absolutely loved the 2nd boss fight. The way the mechanics made use of the unique arena was incredibly, and I laughed out loud so many times.

The 1st day of these is such a ride. So fun to see everyone die to a mechanic. The music is so good. Makes it so epic when you clutch a kill.

I spent more than half this raid dead or trying to figure out what I was dying to They weren’t kidding when they said this would be comparable to ivalice, holy shit I loved aglaia

I think the tethers on the last boss might partly be there to help indicate what move each alliance should focus down. Many times we’ve gotten 3 adds in alliances and parties would get all mixed up on who they should fight. Edit: someone said it’s also for the weights though I’m not sure on that. Edit 2: seems like the tethers indicate the weight. So if 8 players tether them the add weighs 8 units, so you go to the opposite side to balance them. A really interesting add phase.

outside of Byregot, I loved all of the fights EDIT: Also, for the final boss, it's a 10Mill Raid Wipe if the scales aren,t balanced. Learned that the hard way.

The music, the spectacle, the mechanics... it's all so, so damn good.

The Byregot fall got me first time too. Lmao. Now I don't feel so bad that it got Haps as well.

Absolutely loved this raid. Best so far imo. Just ran it for the 1st time last night and the mechanics made my head spin. So glad I watched this. Gave me a broader perspective on what was going on and now more confident in my next attempt.

I love when new alliance raids come out! It’s the best thing to see big groups of players figuring out mechanics for the first time

I died so much in this, we would literally have 5 out of 24 people alive but never group wiped. It’s very forgiving. This is the most fun I have had day one 24 man. Going back in tonight because I didn’t get any gear drops.

If you plan to make a guide, might I suggest the following to make DF easier. Most of what you said was perfect so I won’t say much. Nald’thal will have some tips though, especially for my colour blind friends. 1. The lion adds, burn down one of them. Doesn’t matter. There are no repercussions that I could find out and it makes it extremely easy afterwards. 2. Nald’thal triggers the colour that the room background/orbs are. If they are orange (light), the orange (light) will go off. For colour blind strats, if he is wearing a robe, the blue (dark) will go off. If he has his legs exposed, the orange (light) will go off. There will always be a lie and a truth in every mechanic (either laser AoE or tracking AoEs, never both) and he can change halfway through a cast. 3. For Nald’thal adds, it’s best if everyone kills their add they are tethered to and then move to the opposite side of your add you were tethered to. I have yet to have this fail, no matter which weights are assigned to which adds. I used to do A adjust, B blue, C orange, and then if you had two adds on your side, you also moved to other side but it is much MUCH simpler just for everyone to move to the opposite side of the add they are tethered to, especially for anyone who is colour blind because the arena is VERY similar shade on both sides (dark inner is actually the orange side and light inner is the blue side). Other than that, there isn’t much to point out that you haven’t already figured out. Thank you for everything you do. :) Edit: Forgot to mention, for Thal’s balls, you can simply stay max melee on the safe side. It will always be directly across the middle ball and in between the two outer balls.

This raid was my first time doing one that was current, so I instinctively rolled on the very first fight and got some maiming legs i’m probably not gonna use for a while xD Seriously, this raid is so freaking awesome. The atmosphere, the visuals, the mechanics, and the MUSIC. I was obsessed with In the Balance when I heard it in the trailer and am going to keep doing the fight until I get the orchestrion.

You killed Byregot before the raid wiping mechanic. Your dps was too good. There’s a hammer dropped, hammer shifting the arena, and a half room wide cleave all combined to only create 1 safe space. You end up seeing 3-6 people surviving it, while the other 18-21 people wipe. It’s truly hilarious.

I assumed the tethering was to show what mob you are supposed to attack since each group gets a stack marker. This is such a fun raid! I’ve played it nearly 10x already (got my chest, legs, and the In The Balance orchestration roll. Just want to finish the glamour and get the minion 💕💕💕 I am in love with the last song. Soken just keeps hitting them out of the park!

Might be a coincidence, but i find it curious how Rhalgr's emissary is wielding an axe that looks uncannily similar to the axe you can get from Ramuh.

Loved this Raid. Havent enjoyed any of the others since World of Darkness. Music is a 10/10 too

The scales mechanic on the final boss have a very simple solution: Go to the opposite side of where your add died. If everyone does this it will always solve the mechanic perfectly. What if people are dead? Thats what the tethers are for. The tethers make sure people are always split up equally among each add. So just kil the add you are tethered to and then stand opposite of its side.

I'm terrible at this game, but Rhalgr killed me at least 12 times by himself xD.

Super late to this video, but I love the Aglaia raid so much...I HAVE to remark on one thing, I frickin LOVE the sound it makes when Byregot changes the stage. Something about that sound just makes me go "Eeeeeeeeee"

That Nald'thal split was a great animation that they probably had a hell of a time getting to be that awe inspiring.

I have never noticed some of the AoEs because of all the effects going on and me trying to figure out whats going on lol I did set the effects to minimal but I suppose I could turn them off. Man this raid is fun but now Im starting to understand some mechanics of it

So my knowledge of the 12 is so shoddy that I didnt know it was Azeyma @18:55 despite having Azeyma as my patron diety of my character. I thought it was Nophica or smth, cause I only knew 4 gods going into this (nald thal, nophica, rhalgr and halone) and forgot Azeyma even existed cause I had no idea what anything was when making my char. This is the first time Ill actually learn anything about the 12 lmao

Yhea this raid was amazing espically on day one. Going in fresh no vids or anything to help you.gotta learn it all : ) Even I got hit at certain times. Overall like this raid. Exactly like a colesuim. SE does an amazing job on there raids and everything overall.

First bits a find a bit boring, naldthal is amazing. Got the orchestion scroll of the naldthal music. Dont mind running it all in all. Dead adds are really heavy :)

I love the aesthetics and spectacle of this first raid, literally my only hope for the next ones is for them to be harder tbh. We have too many tools to rez and so many jobs have heals, we didn't have a single wipe on my first run, and it's not because the mechanics weren't unique, it's just some of them are way too forgiving for how insane our kits are IMO. I'm not a huge fan of the armor either, we're getting a lot of white greek glam that's very similar.

The only bad thing about this raid I can say is that I don't really like Thal's voice in English. xD It's not like "bad", but overall I think Nald'thal has more personality in Japanese. Also I believe Byregot shares the voice of Thunder God Cid in JP, so that's a fun similarity to add to the list.
