you can have multiple collars on the same app... you just need different subscriptions for each.

What about putting the collar and GPS on your pack leader or wander. If they tend to all stay together, then it would be better than not having one at all.

I have the whistle now and it's entirely plastic and keeps breaking. They replace it for free but I was hoping this one would be better at that. It's on sale right now for black friday so I'm debating switching.

@@AutumnOh12 I actually ended up cutting their OEM collar off of the metal links that connect to the tracker. I feed these links through my dog's normal collar, so now it just basically hangs, or sits, directly on top of the collar. There is no strain on the plastic and I have had no more issues.

Dogs shouldn’t be walked by the collar anyway. Your point still stands.

It’s a lot like the video of the map. It’ll show you dogs profile picture on the map and update every couple seconds

I keep the FI collar on all the time because it also records sleep activity. I’ve had it on my pup for 2 weeks and I’m just now having to recharge. We go on lots of walks and places where we are not connected to WiFi.

there are aftermarket collars that help eliminate this issue. Sexy Beast Dog collars for example put no pressure on the plastic bits.

I solve that by using a really high-quality harness for dog walks because I have a puller.

@@elcolin_ Good to hear! I am just getting the research started on this. We have an underground fence and recently we had an unpopular neighbor make us there newest target claiming all three of our boxers left our fen line AND returned. There were so many holes in his story and we don’t believe him. Our house cameras don’t reach that side of the property line to provide the proof. So we are looking at alternatives just for proof and peace of mind. We are getting trail cameras but also want to have something more instant for alerts. Soooo, we can upgrade to a smart fence ($$$$$) or maybe these collars provide the added addition with GPS and a lower cost. Still researching but looking for opinions that are honest and helpful!

I have been working (professionally) around and living inside of this type of 'radiation' my entire life and I feel that I understand its risks (or lack thereof) pretty well. There are a tons of studies that both support your view and more, that contradicts it. I suspect that you have already come to your conclusions. This collar is operating from, and transmitting an infinitesimally low amount of radition. So, 'no' I'm not concerned.

We used Link AKC and they had the most incredible customer service. Unfortunately they changed from. AT&T to Verizon signal on theor new collars and our area is not covered well so we had to switch. Tha KS for the review! I really wish the Link was still working for us.
