The Sicilian Dragon is a top-level opening you can play against 1.e4. Instead of a brief explanation of it, I am going in full depth on the Sicilian Dragon Defense. I will include EVERY SINGLE Variation of the Sicilian Defense Dragon Variation opening. This video goes over the Fianchetto Variation. This is a top pick for white in the Dragon Defense and the Fianchetto Variation is a semi-theoretical opening you should know. By playing 9.g3 in the Dragon Sicilian, white is making the position more calm, and thus it is less critical to memorize the moves in the Fianchetto Variation of the Sicilian Dragon.

Interesting. Addmititly I don't know much about KID (beyond very general theory), so it could also be good for me to research and learn it, as it does have that same fire/aggressive nature as the Dragon!! I'll think about it, great idea, thanks!

A little question here, in the position as shown in 4:44, is there any reason why moving the light squared bishop to the side of the board attacking the rook close to the king not an option???

Good question. If you play Ba6 in this position, they can play Qxg4. You win the rook but then Bxf1 Rxf1 comes, and you lose 2 pieces for a rook. It would not be great. You also would not have the two bishops in that position. Best, is to keep your two bishops instead of going for this series of trades. If not for Qg4 though, Ba6 is a good idea!

I never see this line,white play g3 fiancheto so pasif,ussualy yugoslav attack or maroczi bind, I never meet this line when I play as black,but thanks
