I had a 1978 131s 1600 5 speed, from 81 to 84, Great car, lovely driver always very economical to run and no rust, I know they were not all like that ,Great car

Eight years! That's outstanding patience. The results justify the eight years. I'm told there is an ex-Alitalia works Fiat 131 Abarth rotting away somewhere in a farm in Kenya. The car had been sent over for the 1978 Safari rally and was left behind like most works teams used to do with their rally and chase cars.

Dear sir, my hat is off to you. I miss my favourite car that I owned and yes it was a 131. You added the Lancia 16 valve head which I consider the equivalent of a holy alliance, that was my dream as a young bloke but sadly didn't eventuate. I hope you still enjoy the fruits of your labour with this beautiful work of art. I noticed that you are a fellow Aussie. Cheers mate.

@@paulscambler2079 Bro do you live in Brisbane or Sydney because I would genuinely drive to said car and just admire it's beauty. It reckon I would just stare at it for a solid hour. Maybe 1 day I will be lucky enough to see it. I would join the FIAT club if there were any FIAT's left. LOL.

How I love these cars ( i had one, not Gp 4 tho :( The bare minimum to get the job done; a refreshing change from a Mk1/2 eh. No horrible, fat A pillars too. Dear Santa

fantastic job and incredible car, AWESOME !! A doubt ... Where have you found it one wide belt transmission for your 16v engine? Looking over and not reference, could you tell it to me? Thank you.

Hi, sorry. Did not see you asked a question. The vernier cam wheels by Millers Mule in USA can accept the 1 inch wide belt. And the 1 inch wide belt I got from Piombanti in Livorno Italty but should be available from Millers Mule as well.

You've replicated everything to period group 4 rallying except for the roll cage design. Awesome though.
