Fiat Panda 4x4, since its launch in 1983, has always embodied a revolution for the industry, immediately becoming a legend in the making. To celebrate its 40th birthday, Fiat has decided to launch a new special limited edition called ‘4x40°’.
A collector’s edition, which will be produced in 1,983 exclusive units in honor of the year the Fiat icon was born. The new version will continue to be devoted to those who want to move safely on dirt and snow-covered roads, driving a reliable and comfortable car, even though its size and fuel consumption are limited. Consistency it’s the keyword here. Remaining a top of the range unique limited 4x4, the new version will be inspired by its iconic legacy, 40 years of undisputed commercial success that endures and shows no sign of decreasing: almost 800,000 units of Panda 4x4 sold from 1983 and old leader in 4x4 A-segment with 10% historical sales mix.

Why's it a limited edition Panda 4x4.been made in every generation. I've never owned 1 but by all accounts since the 1st Panda 4x4 they've been fantastic and early 1s are still in use in the Highlands of Scotland and high up in the Alps & Pyrenees and most Ski resorts.

Nothing wrong with the Twinair engine, it actually produces more power and torque than both the 1.2 petrol and 1.3 diesel versions! It was the Fiat Panda Twinair that still holds the Cape Town to London rally record beating a previous record held by a Range Rover! I left many other cars stranded this morning in snow while I just wafted through as if it was nothing in my Fiat Panda 4x4. The Twinair is a very capable engine.

La Panda è molto più piccola, non hanno nulla in comune se non il concetto di 4x4: Renegade è compatta in lunghezza ma imponente come carrozzeria, spazi a bordo, motori, comportamento su strada, prestazioni, finiture, equipaggiamenti e comfort oltre ad un sistema 4x4 ed una trasmissione molto più evoluta.

Per festeggiare il 40* ci voleva una serie speciale con molta meccanica e pochissima elettronica per tornare un po’ alle origini, magari con un bel 1300 che spinge, una trasmissione da trattore e ammortizzatori extra, invece mi sembra un po’ insipida, triste e senza carattere.

Tale carenza ti ha impedito di cogliere lo spirito ironico, intrinseco nella mia considerazione (di fatto, il percorso di quel video, è fattibile con qualunque vettura, escluse le auto con vocazione sportiva stradale, troppo basse). Non posso sminuirti, raccontando la mia trascorsa ed attuale, umile esperienza da fuoristradista estremo e da velocità. La mia umile cultura ingegneristica nel settore. Stranamente, a questo punto erroneamente, a leggere il tuo commento astioso, apprezzate da alcuni costruttori più blasonati del settore (mi sa che dovrò restituire i compensi che mi hanno erogato fin'ora). Se vuoi intraprendere dialoghi costruttivi e formativi, posso aiutarti. Se ami la veste di "leone da tastiera", temo di non poterti essere di alcun supporto, e dunque ti lascio ai tuoi pensieri.
