Personally, I really like the high tones, but if they had lower volume/gain that would benefit the mix.

If there were FM channels to spare, I'd put guitar part there. I'd probably use it for the whole song and make guitar lead instrument and use square and sawtooth channels for background, make bass more punchy and add drums

Wow, that's a helpful comment, it's so kind of you, I really appreciated. Please feel free to share any thoughts any time! I do apologize for the high octave SFX being too loud. I'm not at mastering stage yet, so I'm aiming at all parts of the channel at the same amplitude....minus some parts that stands out got nerfed. I can concur it is unbearably loud on my airpods, as they're more responsive to hifreq contents, but I was composing with my bigger headphones on computer so I really didn't notice. This is really a big oof. I'll try my best to avoid it in the future. That said, they're there for a reason. I learn for some music theory guides that the popular songs almost always have some very high octave contents to make it more memorable, and yes, playing very quietly. Almost like a hidden message to one's subconscious, that one would remember it, playing in its head, even tho it's very quiet. The intro is kinda cheesy, but it did sounds alright. Due to the main melody didn't arrive until the chorus past 2:50 as you know, I put some of the melody in the intro, as many other songs do. I'm not so sure about why it'd works, it's picked up from a vid of music theory but funny enough not explaining why it work. as for the transition, I kinda banking on some uplifters or reversed piano slam or chromatic runs or others to get it done....latter. I do agree that it needs more bass and drums, I'm currently in the process of writing (or trying to) the drums, I hopping it'd be some marching band snares with tomtoms, but I don't know how to write that yet. If not, think I would settle for something else. As for the bassline, it was and somewhat still the job of FM1,2 channels, but they're a bit overmodulated so only a brief second during the decade would it produce a satisfying whophe. Think I'll use triangle on VERA for more bass. I'm glad that you like the melodic side, it's kinda a out-of-my-Confort zone thing, usually I'd wrote less complexed. much less. I'm thinking about putting 5:46 chord to 5:33 and make it fade out on last chord As for high octave thing.... it's weird and don't understand how high pitch sound would make it easier to remember. What makes this song so memorable for me are those delays on sawtooth channels. Part 3:40 after transition into square is great too. 4:04 adding chords also sounds great. Intro has good pace, adding more content until verse 1 arrives. Transition is also great but I think playing it once would be better 1:30 - 1:56 , 2:22 - 2:50 the same, 4:29 - 4:55 again. I think changing high-pitched part into guitar will be much better 0:39 - 0:52 what do you think about putting one more note that fades out in the sawtooth channels so it sounds like this?? (not there but later like 1:05). It really feels like that note is missing there. I don't believe I spent 2 hours listening and making this comment, but i don't regret it If it comes to co-op it depends on time-zone we are in. I'm polish, so it's +1 GMT.
