It's time for a little field trip! I'm off to meet Matthew Smith from Badger Workshop. Matt recently moved up to the North East of England, not far from me, so I thought I'd pay him a quick visit. Did you sat those stops were about £6 on... was it eBay? sounded like BeeBay. Anyway, I have nothing to do with this company - cheap Chinese imports and very good quality, have you ever heard of Band Good ? Great field trip. Really good to see a different view / take of Matt's workshop. I'd love to see more of these vids Andy; a great theme idea of yours. The "cheap tape measure" made me laugh out loud... I'm never without mine in the workshop; very happy with that purchase.

Great video Andy. It certainly stops my whining about only having a 22ft x 10ft space for my workshop. I have been thinking about systems where I could fix tools to a removable "shelf" and shelve" tools like disc/belt sander, oscillating sander etc until needed. Matts idea for fixing the drill press on the bench is what I have been looking for. Thanks Matt!

Good vid Andy, nice tape measure but I think I'm with Matt with his Stanley power locks. I first bought one in 1977 and continued buying them to this day, even though the casing is no longer metal. I think its a great idea you meeting fellow you tubers in person, maybe think about collaborations on projects.

Nice change 👍 can't remember who it was but KZfaq threw me up a video on which tool manufacturers own which brands. Some you'll know and some surprised me. Worth a Google.

Turn the head of the drill press 90 and use vice to extend depth in a pinch.

Good idea. But it should be very well clamped to the workbench in that case. It may easily tumble.

It feels strange knowing we have quite a few popular KZfaqrs up here, plus it's always nice to see places I know in KZfaq videos, it's one of the main reasons I like watching Vera (plus the fact that they filmed in my old street). You could have picked a better McDonalds to go to like, the food doesn't taste as as good at that one!

Nice one I enjoyed that Andy. I never seen the badger till now. His space is very similar. I had to subscribe to see how he operates. The only problem now is I will binge on the badgers vids and no one else will get a look in . I must ask about the shelving for wood storage in your shop. When I stared i constructed a massive shelving system .”i was thinking weight “ and went OTT on it . Do you have any videos about them . They look light weight but I can see it’s holding a massive amount of Weights. Thanks again regards David
