@@The_Engineerr While Ukrainians are looking for ways to prove the exclusivity of their nation for the sake of the EU, Moldovans have found a reverse path and deny their existence in principle. In Romania, of course, they are supported in this UPD: I went lower in the comments and there another person wrote about this situation in more detail. In short, this is not applicable in this case, but what I wrote is relevant in general to the relationship between Romania and Moldova

I don't know why do you consider the satement bad? In the Moldovan constitution it literally says that the official language is Romanian not Moldovan. Also half of Moldova exists within Romania itself and we consider everyone romanian, Moldovans being a subgroup. Pro-Russians push the agenda of a Moldovan separate identity from Romania and that it has a different langauge when we can understand each other with no problem.

1 - Russia initiated Kharkiv offensive which increased losses for both sides 2 Both are probably exaggerating each other's losses to a certsin extent 3 - You shouldn't fully trust any media about any losses.
