They played a match together which Bobby withdrew due to playing on sabbath. Bobby was ahead lifetime

Samuel was a heck of a player but was up against 1970’s Fischer which meant almost certain defeat at the hands of Mr. Fischer!

Reshevsky had Fischer against the ropes and only a last moment blunder saved the latter. The game says so.

According to chessgames com database they have played 28 games in their life time and Fischer had the plus score against Rashevsky. Bobby Fischer beat Rashevsky 9 to 4 with 13 draws. And Fischer has also managed to defeat Rashevsky when he was only a kid, a teenager, so thats a one of his famous games and as you know Rashevsky was much older then Fischer. He was as old as his father would be. Thanks for watching dear Jeff.
