I bought the old scotts concentrate (4%), add a surfactant, and I use it to the instructions on the fiesta bottle and dilute accordingly factoring in the different concentrations of the two concentrates. Effectively I end up with the same amount of iron (FeHEDTA) on my lawn as I would have if I used Fiesta. I found the same results as you did with Fiesta. I'd still give a nut for some 2,4-D. Thanks for the comparison! Edit: FYI for anyone reading the new Scotts MAX is reduced in concentration by about half from the regular stuff but they only decreased the price by about 33%. They basically watered it down and wrote "max" on the bottle so you didn't know they were screwing you.

I've been fighting creeping charlie for the past couple of years and Fiesta is certainly working but it takes multiple applications. I like the dawn dish soap idea - I will do that from now on.

Fiesta definetly seems like a better value and product! The scotts did well on simple weeds but it I lived in Canada and had to choose between Fiesta and Scotts, I would go with Fiesta

We are going to try a brand new backpack sprayer (holds 15 litres of liquid) along with a 4 litre jug of Fiesta that we purchased last week. Live on a new rural property where we just threw down grass seed and clover a couple years ago... Had the Weed Man come to give me an estimate to weed kill our lawn which covers approx 1 acre ( I actually measured the grassy (weedy) area at 37,000 sq ft.). Figure with the backpack sprayer we should just do spot spraying on the weeds around the lot. Going to try mixing 10 litres of water with 14 oz of Fiesta... hope my calculations are correct for the mixture. I keep hearing about mixing in Dawn (blue) dish soap to use as a surfactant... Do you have any idea how much dish soap you would mix into a 10-15 litre backpack tank???

I was able to buy Par 3 it worked very well.

Fiesta is cheaper. If you look at the Scott’s label inside the folded instructions it actually has the the Nuedorff emblem (maker of Fiesta). Sold at FS stores in Ontario without a licence. You can mix it heavier or lighter depending on the weeds you wish to “control” not kill.

Really good content. I dont know if you heard about tenacity and where to get it in canada. Im trying to get a bottle of tenacity but not sure where to get it. Or is it even allowed to be shipped to canada.

I have mixed clover with grass seed to cover my lawn, but I got broadleaf weed to take care of. I think fiesta would kill clover as well as broadleaf weed ? :(
