The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the 23rd FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international men's soccer championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament will be jointly hosted by 16 cities in three North American countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States. 60 matches, including every match from the quarterfinals onward, will be hosted by the United States while neighboring Canada and Mexico will each host 10 matches. This tournament will be the first to include 48 teams, expanded from 32.
The United States last hosted the World Cup in 1994, whereas it will be Canada's first time hosting or co-hosting the men's tournament.

I am beyond ecstatic that Miami will be hosting World Cup games in 2026. Hard Rock Stadium is definitely a World Cup Stadium. It is the American version of the San Siro/Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan, Italy.

As a European football fan. I can honestly say they all look amazing. Huge stadiums. I like em all. All unique. One thing I've noticed is how big and spacious they look. European stadiums look very compact and claustrophobic.

Yes, and Gilette is in Foxboro not Boston, and Levi's is in Santa Clara not San Francisco, and AT&T is in Arlington not Dallas, and SoFi is in Inglewood, not LA. It's just a thing. Most of these stadiums are going to require car or a shuttle to get to the actual stadium from the downtown areas.

Gillette Stadium (Located in Foxboro/Foxborough, Massachusetts. Which is in Norfolk county, in which neighbors Suffolk county, in which Boston is located in.) Is always confused as Being in Boston, while actually being in Foxboro.

San Francisco’s stadium has an empty corner where the ball could go out of the stadium during a match. It would be hilarious and frustrating to see. Plus, it doesn’t help that SF is such a hellhole city nowadays. Such a bad host imo, Las Vegas would have made more sense.

@@sergiooh978even Panthers stadiums which was built almost 30 years ago looks better than San Francisco in my humble opinion. The Steelers stadiums from 20+ years ago looks more beautiful as well.

Miami will have water ferries from what I have been hearing. The South Florida region will be expanding its Brightline high-speed train service to Orlando in the next year.

Oversized? The1994 FIFA WC hosted in the U.S. has the record for largest attendance in WC history and will only be eclipsed by the 2026 FIFA WC. These football stadiums are average size for the U.S. FIFA, WOC, and other football leagues know full well the U.S. market is the largest and that Americans will come out to pay and attend. There are more Americans on avg who travel to an overseas to a WC or Olympics than any other nation.

It's because American Football is played outdoors during the Fall and the weather is never too hot or too cold. In places where it does get extremely cold or hot or snow a lot they often have roofs, so Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Miami, Dallas, Houston, Seattle have a roof.

I am sorry, but why are the designs of the stadiums closed and large from the outside? The stadium must be beautifully designed, not overgrown and crowded. There is no beautiful design except for how many designs. They should focus on the design being more beautiful than that. Damn, they should learn from the stadiums of Africa, Brazil and Qatar

Stadiums like Miami and Seattle are very beautiful as well. And stadiums like Boston and Kansas have no roof but are very beautiful and comfortable same thing can be said about Philadelphia and New York. Also many cities like the New Minnesota stadium, new Las Vegas, Indiana, Arizona etc didn’t want to participate in World Cup.

Nobody it would be on the news if one person did, we actually have labor laws in America and benefits, and the people that build these stadiums are educated people who are good at what they do, they just don’t grab random poor people from a different country and make them work for 2cents and hour.
