She didn’t expect him to abuse her. Even in the most hardcore BDSM, it’s about kink and trust and fantasy and respect. Otherwise it might as well be rape and/or sexual assault. Furthermore, in this scene I feel that she’s seen as an object, not as another human being with real feelings and a right to her own body. It's because of this punishment that made her walk out on him which is the best thing that happened in this book because it was the catalyst that made Christian change for her. It makes him undergo a character development, not just for him, for Anna AND for their relationship to make it work.

This whole trilogy is this guy pretending he’s a sadist pretending he’s a dominant when really he’s just a dominant with self esteem issues and granted- traces of what could have been an oedipus complex. And her just overreacting to literally everything because she’s mentally ten. If a guy tells me he’s a sadist, but at the same time they put it in the freaking rules that they do not like to leave permanent marks on the skin, bruise the skin, draw blood, play with electricity. This is the opposite of sexy. It's about a psycho and a highly abusive relationship. Being "punished" by a man or woman in the course of a sex act in a loving and safe manner is fun, but NOT when it's for real - it's an utter nightmare and we shouldn't be portraying women willingly submitting themselves to that kind of abuse. How the actors even allow themselves to do it I don't know.

You guys need to remember this is a Twilight Fan fiction. When the story became published, the only thing she changed was the names and the car she drives. Christian is supposed to be the embodiment of Edward Cullen who is self loathing which is heightened by his vampirism. The author basically has tried to convey over heightened emotions of a vampire into a human.

The beginning of this scene makes me so mad because it's not at all like the book. He's warm and playful when she comes to him at the piano, she sits in his lap and they have a conversation that the contract is moot, but he does still want some rules to apply because he's still trying to resist his feeling for her, (and because before this scene while Ana was in GA he had dinner with Elena who kept up with her emotional abuse of him and got in his head). Ana has a problem with the rules because he wishy-washy on them, a fun chase that turns into this tension happens and it goes from there.

This ending scene was better in the book, for some reason they portrayed Christians character more “Cold” in the fifty shades of grey movie whilst in the book, he wasn’t as “cold” or “Closed off”

Please no. I'm a woman and by mistake I have seen this movie on TV, I haven't been able to finish it since it's ugly😂. Stupid and nonsensical story, bad acting (my dog acts better), childish directing and really bad photography. It is a really cheap and ugly movie from every point of view.

I wish they would have represented the BDSM lifestyle better... It's about trust and respect of each other... It's not about ownership unless that is agreed upon... after I watched this movie, I felt like I had a nice and romantic relationship broken up🥺😔. It felt like Grey made Ana fall in love with him and because of this love Ana did whatever he wanted her to do. But fortunately Ana made the good decision. She put an end to this game and set herself free, although the end was very sad , it was the best thing to do
