With emotions like this, the referees did the right thing to only throw one penalty and no suspension. If these were NFL officials, they would have thrown five flags. NFL officials believe fans show up to see them.

Plenty of people, regardless of their politics and views love the country. The media on both sides of the political divide have done their best to make it seem like both sides hate each other and fuel the fire. I don't think Harbaugh was going anywhere even if they lost. He still doesn't have them on OSUs level which very few are but I honestly don't think anyone else would have them in a much better position considering where they were at before he got there.

I'm a diehard Buckeyes fan, but was taught to always congratulate the winning team, and NEVER, NEVER lower yourself to being a bandwagon fan. While I would have much, much preferred the Buckeyes took the win,in the spirit of good sportsmanship, I congratulate the Michigan Wolverins on their win. This 60 year old, Ohio born, grandmother of 7 wishes she could have been there cheering on her Buckeyes.

Ohio state was flat from the start, not fired up, and got out played on every down. Day got out coached, didn’t adapt the play calls for the weather, just horrible from start to finish. A d can’t ask for the Run game to contribute when you’ve focused on passing all year. My hats of to TTUN, you showed up with a chip on your shoulders and played smash mouth football. Guess I’ll root for Cincinnati to make the playoffs because they are the only team in Ohio who doesn’t get caught up in the media telling them how great they are.

As a michigan fan and part of the rivalry, you guys had a good season. Enjoy the rose bowl or new years 6 game. As a college football fan, cincy don't need to be anywhere near the playoffs. Georgia, bama, michigan, okla st/Okla would shred cincy like it was a warmup game like Alabama vs New Mexico st lol.

I was concerned Ohio State wouldn't play good. Ohio state is still inconsistent and that's why they lost. The game against Penn State was alarming the game against Nebraska was alarming and so was the Wisconsin game. The loss to Oregon was bad and now this loss was horrible. You can't beat a rival every year. Ohio state's done their part for 8 years. It's a shame Ohio state was good enough to win. Consistency is tough for any team.

Any player that gets sucked into giving away a crucial "Unsportsmanlike" penalty is a target for provocation from then on. It was one of my specialities in every sport I played, upset the opposition to the point they retaliate - easy penalty, but the hot heads don't learn and they keep letting their team mates down. My team mates never liked what I did but they loved the penalties.

Gotta be careful with that one as it can easily get flipped on its head. If the ref decides that you were the agitator you both could be getting penalties lol.

@@jedimindtrix2142 Oh yeah, the trick is to not do anything that is foul, just do the little things that annoy the opposition; hang onto someone's shirt a little bit longer, ask them if their girlfriend still puts out, don't make any effort to get off them after a tackle just lay there, laugh at them.....these can really test a players self-discipline and if they crack, yea ha. Never been penalised, been warned a heap, drawn a lot of penalties and had opposition players unable to focus for the game, never penalised.

@@weewillywanka5904 Sounds like you would've been one of the opposition players I baited and were never able to focus back on the game - that means your team was down at least one player. Some people call it Gamesmanship. I call it "testing self-discipline" because so many opposition players really went after me on the field after a bit of baiting and lost it, whilst I remained composed and focused on the game no matter the provocation they heaped on me.

Typical, the guy that returns fire gets the penalty while the official was right there and saw it all. The Michigan player obviously started it. Gotta keep your cool and just get him on the next play rather than get a costly penalty!

Cameron Brown will likely be suspended for the Big 10 championship game. That suspension, if given, could even get extended to any bowl games or College Football Playoff games Ohio State may qualify for.

Ohio was overrated when they lost to Oregon....who's struggled with what should be easy pac 12 games for them. Michigan smashed Ohio in the mouth on the ground the whole game.

This is a good example of big ten sportsmanship. Even those these are the most heated rivals, players from both teams are trying to deescalate the scrum. The Michigan players defend their guy and get in the osu players face, but w no punches or shoves...and the osu teammates mostly seem to be trying to get their hothead guy out of there.
