I re-watched this movie with the commentary and that's how I learned who that was. I really liked that band all through the 90's too.

@@bengonzales1182 Fight Club has one of the best commentary tracks I've ever listened to. What Fincher, Pitt, Norton, and Bonham-Carter say is not only informative but really entertaining. It actually sounds like they're enjoying themselves.

I guess this scene speaks against the theory, that Marla is an alter-personality of the narrator? The theory kinda made sense though. No one else but the narrator speaks to Marla.
