Perhaps some Chinnok with commandos and engineers Spam too to add some challenge. 3-100 migs vs 50 Destroyer 4-100 Cruiser+100 destroyers vs Fortified player controlled Soviet base and army on Island. 5- Survival round: Normandy like defense with fortifications and player controlled allied base+army againts a landing force of transports landing 2000 infantry, 1000 rocket infantry, 750 Shock Troopers, 200 V2 launchers, 150 heavy tanks, 100 mammoth Tanks, 100 tesla tanks, 75 phase transports plus air support from scripted reinforments of yaks, migs and hind d. And 50 missile subs. 6-100 super volkov vs 50 super mammoth tank (very demanded) 7-An army of Commandos (perhaps played controlled) vs super fortified and crowed Nod base with temple as main objective. 8-APC challenge: player capture heavy nod base using 50 enginers and 10 APC

The number advantage in the open battlefield helps out the Nod army a ton. In a more cramped area, GDI wins.

@@StuGames Ah. That might be a fun thing to do in the next video. Do a full Nod vs GDI battle in an environment where terrain itself is a factor. I know what you mean though. Tight spaces are the worst especially when trying to contend with powerful base defences. Perhaps that's why I came to hate Obelisks so much.

Tremendous impact. They draw fire and disrupt the battle lines.

that's a major reason why nod army won. more individual vehicles, more survivors soaking up fire.

They're the whole reason the Obelisks lost. Low ROF with no splash damage = hitting an infantry is like a HUGE boost to the HP of the 'next' tank.

@@chasecalvert9510 Fact check me, does Obelisk work like Tesla Coils? The latter can do a quick 3 burst shock to clean up infantries faster.

Just so you know the original Red Alert is completely free (not the remaster), EA released it as freeware in the public domain (along with classic Tib Dawn and Tib Sun) about a decade ago. So it's 100÷ legal to download and install it from any sites that host it, if you really did want to play it again. CnCNet would be my recommended source, seems they optimized it well for modern systems (without changing the classic gameplay the way OpenRA does), and were heavily influential in the remasters.

Buggy is better against Infantry than against vehicles, but far away from good. They mainly build for scouting taskes, his weapon is more for self defending. If he use his speed is more effectiv against Infantry.

Buggy's and Hum-vees rip rocket infantry to shreds but once they get into rifleman range (which is super short) they get overpowered. Honestly it was pretty close

Yea, I showcased that bug about a year ago when beta testing the remasters. But the Remaster team didn't find it worth fixing; most base perimeters have 2x2 blocks in the corners so this doesn't work, and no one builds walls in multiplayer anyway.

It's one of the sillier bugs in the game. It's honestly not very exploitable; most bases have 2x2 blocks in the corner, and they prevent this trick from working.

Shot selection was an issue for the obelisks too, if they had smarter targeting it would have been very close

If the Obelisks coordinated their fire maybe three to each tank they'd have won

The Tesla Coil shoots faster than the Obelisk, but only on a very slight margin.

Obelisks totally tear apart Mammoths if there's a few walls in between, as they are normally placed in bases.

Obelisk lost many shots to infantries that came out of destroyed mammoth tanks. While compare to tesla coil can split 3 shots for multiple targets.

Ah, those pesky "value of a human life" debates.
