I had a broken leg/foot and i sat and the base of the stage with Rob singing over me part of the show. Rob tore the setlist off the floor and gave it to me right after the show when I asked him for it. I will find it and post it if anyone is interested! As much as I love Judas Priest (and I do love Judas Priest - have seen them live 7 or 8 times over the years) this in my humble opinion is the best music Rob Halford ever made - I saw Fight in Detroit touring on War of Words at Harpo's and then later on Small Deadly Space at the Palladium. Had never heard the material before and was simply blown away... I mean BLOWN AWAY - Halford was riveting - the band was nothing short of amazing...Halford's finest period. Pure Metal Genius!!!
@ChazinFl13 жыл бұрын
I saw Fight 4 times. I do love the songs, but the musicians are not up to par for Rob. Satchel was the only really good musician (other than Scott Travis) and he was only there for a short time. The other guitarist is horrible, along with the bass player. ROb realized this after making the 2nd album and ditched them. Great move. The Halford band was WAY more talented and wrote way better songs. my 2 cents
@shagstars3 жыл бұрын
@@ChazinFl1 They werent that bad, I mean teh guitarist he has here looks like the same in halford in 2001. He isn't the best but he can play his own stuff well. halford band did write great songs but also some lesser songs just like in fight. The laid back vibe from 90's early 00's doesn't work well for halford.

@Rob Halford Your paths with JayJay were compliments of a referral I gave him to Margie over at Artistic Skin Design (Jim Watson's studio). I met JayJay at PV Mall at the bust station and he asked for a light as we began discussing my tattoos. He handed me a business card that said "Suicidal Tats" and asked if I knew anyone looking for a tattoo artist. I sent him over to Artistic Skin Design on Camelback. This was around 1990-1991. A few years later I went and saw Fight at The Mason Jar and saw JayJay on stage playing bass. What a small world. ;)
