thats the challenge, why dont you challenge yourself and tell yourself you will keep playing and learn along the way how to beat these guys, and once you start beating them consistently, you will get such a rush it will become addicting, you will start to get so good at beating spammers and other dicks. the satisfaction from training learning and finally beating these guys will be so satisfying and the rush and satisfaction wont even compare to legacy mode lol, I dont even play vs AI, I never payed story mode I went straight to inline and went through my learning curve through online play and im pretty good now, I mean I only have like literally 3-4 more wins than I do losses but still I feel like lot of people, even people with 1000s of fights, will have twice as many losses than wins, so being 50% win/loss isnt too bad

@@Johnbrownsmarch naw he’s right. You can be blocking perfectly and someone spamming the power straight right will still get thru. I played a guy online who’s like 690 wins and 89 losses spamming the straight power right with vitali Klitscho. The first 5 rounds he spammed unlimited and I couldn’t block consistently. He gassed out and started running the last 5 rounds. He won on score cards 94-92 but he knocked me down 3 times in the first 5 rounds. With the same punch.

@@brianjackson3031 I find that when I'm not clamped down hard on the trigger punches get through. The block animation is still going on. I also find that when my shoddy worn out sticks arent recentered punches get through as well. However, the moment I check all of those things the block works perfectly

I just get frustrated with the games stamina system sometimes, it's not all around broken but I feel like certain aspects are, like how some fighters throw literally 10 combos of 5-10 punch combos in a row and never seem to have to rest between them much it's hard to counter sometimes when they can just keep throwing such long combos 1-2 seconds apart all round for nearly every round. Sorry for seeming like a dick or something though wasn't trying to.

It's pure cancer to the community, I can't understand how someone can base they're entire gameplan around spamming boggles my mind.

how the fuck are they exploits if they are put in the game on purpose? they were designed to use for counters, isnt it obvious this is what they are?? its one thing to say they are op or something but to just claim the move itself is an exploit makes 0 sense

You have to flick the left stick directly back at them immediately after they push. That will put you right back on them and generally the punch they throw will be blocked. See the channel I trollspammers. On that channel there is an old video called something like "Push straight spam" See that one, it gives a few options to deal with push straights. The best method is tapping your left stick directly at them as they push. There is another video called something like "Fight Night Champion Spam How to counter it". Near the middle there is a full fight showing anti-spammer techniques. In that fight you can see the push straight get nullified several times. The key is not to throw back when they are fresh, first 4 rounds. If you fight back instead of focusing on counter the push straight early in the fight you'll probably be knocked out. It is such a cheap move. There are a few other videos on that channel that touch on dealing with the push straight a bit. Although the best way to practice is having someone spar with you and just push straight you so you can practice the counter and make it instinctual you can practice offline. Offline, do a fight now session with Ali and try to clinch him. When you try to clinch him he will then usually push you. So it's try to clinch, get ready for the push, when Ali pushes, flick the left stick at him. Once you get that down, hit the opponent once and only once immediately after you sling back into him. if he is frantically doing push straights you just want to hit once and get your block back up. If you combo, he can catch you in a furry of push straights so only one punch at a time. The overall game plan with these guys is to just relax and not do much for the first 3-5 rounds. Let them burn up and blow their stamina with that nonsense and save your stamina and health until later in the fight. Most punches that you do throw early should be to the body. If they bomb on you a lot early, you're not going to win the rounds regardless of how many punches you throw. At that point you're just taking chances and damage, wasting stamina and loosing the rounds anyway. It's best to focus on blocking/countering the barrage of push straights until they slow down then slowly turn up the heat. I never loose to push straight spammers by using the above method.

I've been playing since this game came out , mostly it's young teens and 20 something's , and they all play the same , can't box for shit just want to hug the ropes and throw straights then when they can't win they start the o lag switching up , it sucks but I love this game

That would be nice, but most of the players are spammers which have no desire to play SIM. I'd say if they punish cheese, they would just quit the game instead of learning and adapting.

I like fighting spammers lol...the thing i hate about it is given the right circumstances..it dominates the game and it really shouldnt. Just make a monster cab...shove opponent against teh ropes and mash right hands for a KO. then talk shit like you did something. Thats been my experience.

Yeah man, true. If they make another one, they should put in a cheese meter. That would put people off using cheese. If you use an inside fighter and run and spam straight punches the whole fight then you'll get a high cheese rating
