@@eric-wb7gjYou can blame RNG. But the FV201 would have easily killed him with AP, and the KV-2 would have easily killed him with HE, which are the usual main ammo types for these vehicles anyway.

@@montagistkacke7431 True, but the player could have been long dead anyway from the LTG & other shots bounced. The FV201 would have had to pen. Only hitting for 7 H.E damage is awful, you'd expect more. KV2 player was very bad. Combination of bad play & bad luck for enemy team, but the type 59 player made the most of it.

@@eric-wb7gjYeah, RNG has fucked the earlier players. But FV201 has a low caliber gun with rubbish HE damage and pen, I wouldn't have been surprised if it would have been absorbed by the tracks and dealt no damage at all. Certainly wouldn't have trusted in an HE shell killing the Type 59. With AP, penetrating wouldn't have been a problem, the hull would have been an easy pen, especially from the side.

Jesus Christ that ltg was so bad. He bounced so many shots off this dude's ass and side, and then fv firing he, wtf. And kv2 with derp firing AP wtf times 2.can I get enemies like that please. Still hell of a game tho. Gg.

I think the FV still had the right idea to load HE as that 17-pounder gun (and a VERY bad 17-pounder at that) would've had a lot of trouble going through the front of a hull-down Type-59, so he really got screwed there ... but if the old HE mechanics were still in play, Vid_J would've been 100% dead there. He got VERY lucky.

@@jacobsekela8691 nah it wasn't the right idea. You don't ever fire he in a tiny gun like that unless ur shooting like a paper tank. And the fv was in a position to where even if the type 59 was on the ramp he can still shoot his hull. That 17 pdr has very pretty apcr pen. I get what your saying tho.

Probably the most shocking thing about this game is that at least ONE of the enemy tanks were capable of thinking and breathing at the same time and loaded/fired HE, but were still screwed at the end. HE fired for SEVEN DAMAGE and he was on 9 hitpoints ... with the old HE mechanics, Vid_J is 100% dead and this would've been a heartbreaker. But talk about a massive throw by the enemy team ... this game HAS to have the absolute worst playerbase of any F2P online multiplayer game ever, no? Because matches (and enemies) like this continue to reinforce that statement.

The original was a beast before they nerfed it. The game only went to tier 9. The hull armor was 200 mm. The turret was 247 mm. The gun handling and pen were mediocre at best, but MY GOD! 3 in a platoon would wreck an entire flank in 2 minutes. We would type in chat that we were going to bumrush one side with our platoon, 7 or 8 more would usually come with. The amount of times we crushed one side of a map in absolute chaos and destruction, to a torrent of laughs and giggles in voice chat were unforgettable. Good times.

Me getting ammo rack so often when it was first release. I use it as a crew trainer for the Chinese line. It was great because it was so nimble at that time.

Introduction of type-59 was the first time I thought "this is pay to win". Back in a day penetration values were much lower, T-44 had a top gun with 175mm or 180 pen. And then this thing comes along, a medium tank that you have problem penetrating on the upper plate! I hated it for quite a while.

I remember hating this tank when i was just a newbie. It was ridiculous that i kept bouncing my shots on the T29 on its upper and sometimes lower plate with my 105mm.

Can't comprehend how this is even possible. First, consider how the enemy were complete moppets and had worse aim than the average stormtrooper. Then, realize that those moppets absolutely cut through Vid_J's team like a hot knife through butter. How is it possible for teams to be that bad, and aligned in such a fashion for outcomes like this? It boggles the mind.

When the game came out when I was a kid I managed to get this tank but my laptop crapped out and, as a kid, I couldn't just get another laptop. Almost 10 years later as an adult I'm able to game on PC again but I couldn't get access to that old account 😢

The type 59 is a good tank but that was never really the issue. It was the type 59 "wolf packs". Where they would platoon x3 and any others would work with them. THAT was when they were just nasty.

IS6, KV5, Type 59, T34 3, FCM50t, T26E4, M6A2E1, 112, WZ111, WZ111 Alpine Tiger, 88mm Jagdtiger, E25, Panther M10, AT15A...the more famous examples...u only can find this info from WOT fansites or from veterans, WOT wont tell u these kind of stuff

The KV2 is the best example for how stupid the average wot player is. Just shows how many players simply turn off their brain when playing the game. Literally no reason for him to load AP there. Even just splashing the Type 59 would have sufficed to take him out.

I remember back in the days when the team have type 59 or ferdinand usually wins , oh they have type 59!! , I was sad back then that it never sold again by WG . When I came back after many years, I got my kv4 getting pentrated by many tanks !! Oh and there are a lot of autoloaders !! Not only the French tanks that I know
