He made a video for the most profitable non-premium tanks a few years ago. Would be interesting to see if the list has changed since then.

well you get more gold from having a premium account. That goes for both regular and premium vehicles. Using high cost ammo is more risky with normal account, because a bad fight can easily make you loose money. Same goes for adding consumables. So the only difference in what to bring to a battle, between f2p and paid account is the risk. That was from the account type perspective. From vehicle perspective, premium vehicles make more money and some may be cheaper to repair or have cheaper ammo. If you do not need to repair and can avoid using gold shells and not spending the large repair kit, you may have decent income. Well maybe even with spending some of those or because of spending some of those. The is that vehicles get more expensive to drive in higher tiers. Since I am not skilled enough to do battles like QB, I often loose money in tier 8+ battles if I use a regular tank with f2p account. So to farm credits in those cases, I go to tier 5 - 7, in the vehicle I feel I perform very well. I try not to think of it as farming credits, but instead having fun. I have a tier 6 vehicle that I like and have many battles in. Therefor my crew is skilled and of course it is elite and I have field mods and I can invest in some consumables and I bring some gold ammo for special cases. I do have some premium vehicles, but sometimes this one is more fun, and that alone can make you perform better and actually earn more credits. If you could find money for a one time purchase, you could buy a premium tank. Some premium tanks can also be aquired in-game sometimes. It does not need to be tier 8, it could be a cheaper one. Especially if you are not that comfortable in higher tiers yet. You do not need premium account to drive a premium vehicle. But do some research and see if it feels like a tank fitting your gameplay style and perhaps its repair cost and ammo cost. Also, a premium tank can use the crew of other tanks, without retraining or penalty. However this require same nation and class I believe. So if you have a tier 6 premium heavy of same nation as you are grinding heavies, you can use it to train the crew of your newly researched and bought regular tank. You will get some credits and free xp the same time. Perhaps to upgrade the first modules. Then your first battle in, say your tier 8 heavy, will be more fun.

I save my credit boosters for when the battle pass or mission rewards cough up a day of Premium. Playing a Premium vehicle on Premium account with a credit boost racks up the credits fast, even when you're as bad as me!

even worse now that i only play occaionally. so i never get to buy discounted equipment and stuff too. now i will just play the game occationally untill i run out of credits then its no more wot XD

Best time to run credit boosters - fyi is at christmas when the tree and enhanced cred income takes place. Just add randoms to platoons in game and boom presto - 30% credit income and credit boosters of 50% = 80% increase without bonuses from platoon on top too.

I personally love the IS-3A. I play it so much better than the regular IS-3. I actually 3-marked without even realizing and I never run food (do fire a decent amount of gold)

@@Apocy2000 But some ppl can't afford a premium and/or can't grind/earn one either. So seeing the best non-premium credit makers would be nice. If nothing else for another idea for a video for more "live" plays

I love the AMX 13 57 at tier 7 even more than the ELC 90... but man does it get expensive if I end up in a tier 9 battle with plenty of armor and need to bring the gold loadout.
