Because of his extensive martial arts and especially his Aikido skills along with his powerful spirituality Seagal never gets: 1. Shot 2. Stabbed 3. Hit with a pipe 4. Punched 5. Out of breath 6. His clothes dirty 7. Sweaty and he kills all the guys after him by shooting, stabbing, hitting them with objects, punching them, making them bleed, throwing their sweaty, exhausted bodies around with almost no effort. It's so realistic it's UNBELIEVABLE. He fears being seen as "human" so much that when he hosted Saturday Night Live he refused to do a COMEDY SKIT where the SNL actors beat him up! Instead he wrote a skit he wanted to do where a woman goes to a rape crisis center to speak to a counselor about being raped - only to be raped by the counselor. To him it wasn't funny getting beat up in a skit but a rape victim being raped again by the counselor who was supposed to help her is funny. Steven Seagal is a black belt in Malignant Narcissism and Sociopathy. 😏

It is true, I trained in Aikido myself and used it to win a few fights easily. However, Steven's movies are unrealistic and nothing like real Aikido, which doesn't look at entertaining as this Kung Fu Jackie Chan stuff he is doing on film.

In order to Segal to win a fight, some requirements need to be met: 1. The bad guy has to be really stupid and overconfident. 2. The bad guy needs to get irrationally, unnecessarily close to him. 3. The bad guys need to be a horrible shot, and have a very loose grip on his weapon. 4. No running scenes allowed! 5. The bad guy has to cooperate to a degree.

@Asian Giraffe maybe a long time ago, anybody who knows martial arts knows that aikido is of very limited effectiveness in a modern setting. Muay thai, BJJ Boxing and judo are far better as they actually spar.
