Denzel Washington ISN'T the original Equalizer! The ORIGINAL Equaliser - note the English spelling, as opposed to the U.S. variant - was a British-TV series, with Edward Woodward in the title role.

The final kill is just chilling, very similar to the final fight in the first part. Robert just moves in, coldly, calculatingly and without uttering as much as a syllable. He makes no superfluous movements, finishes Dave with his own knife and tosses his body down into the sea from the lighthouse roof "like a piece of lint or a bottle cap, just a thing to remove."

Yep... Even got chills at how he just calmly kept reloading the nail gun and kept shooting him until he came face to face... Then just put the final nail in the coffin... Also the death stare he gave to the person who was literally chocking on his own blood due to the barge wire... Like his suffering and death meant nothing to him... At all... As if he had no emotions for these people...

So damn sweet..when he broke Dave down limb by limb then the special knife to the heart then the spine then the kick off the lighthouse GEEZ…I’m not a fan of morbid killing in movies..But the Equalizer and Denzel just can’t be beat it’s the revenge

Foreshadowing when Dave looks down at the rocks after first hitting his head. Just once I'd like to see the pain of Dave's wife and kids. Or perhaps Dave has to witness what their lives will be like without him.

I first saw DW in a British film called For Queen And Country, where he was an ex British soldier. I was absolutely captivated by him. He wasn't even a famous Hollywood A list at that time. Like a fine beverage, he never disappoints.

Out of all the scenes, the Coffee ☕ Bar scene is my favourite. You know I find it ironic how the Bar Owner leaves and says he'll be back, as if he knows something is about to go down. But Denzel is so badass in the role he could show Liam Neeson a thing or two with his own variation on the particular set of skills.

Absolutely! This was the ultimate scene in the movie and the villain certainly deserves to die the way he did. Kudos to the director as well as Denzel and the poor guy who gets killed brutally in this scene!

He is one of the best. I don't like it that he is getting older. He's 68 now. Maybe 68 is the new 48 for him? He is great in INSIDE MAN by Spike Lee. Spike is a genius of film and Denzel is fantastic in that one and he never pulls a trigger or throws a punch.

3:00 scene is one of my fav in the whole franchise! Nothing grandiose - just a cafe and street, but how well did they used that setting! Harry Gregson in Williams s soundtrack is 30% of the scene s coolness as well!
