That part reminds me of my uncle who passed away 16 years ago about and he had his own gym and I actually did the same thing rocky did by visiting so it hurt

Tony Esposito yes Tommy Morrison died at age 44 in 2013 from complications of aids and his boxing license was suspended in 96 after contracting the disease. His death was actually cardiac arrest and was dying from aids at the time.

Have you noticed that every time Rocky has a match, it doesn't matter who he fights with, he starts getting serious beatings in the first rounds and then just before the end, when he is about to die and when it seems that he can't do it anymore, he gathers the last atom of strength and starts to fight and in the end he wins. That is a tactic in almost every fight

This scene really captures the feeling of a street fight..the tension..the shit talking before attacking..the feeling of punching someone’s head with your bare knuckles, the nerves from when it starts to the adrenaline that takes over once the first punch is landed. Maybe I’m fucked up but it’s a good memory

Aside from his fight with Drago, this was my favorite fight in the Rocky series. Its a shame Stallone said this was his least favorite Rocky but I believe he only said that because of pressure from critics. This movie was very underrated.

To this day, still among my all-time favorite movies, favorite actors. The intensity and realness that he brought to this series could not have been equaled by any other actor. Stallone will always be one of my favorite actors of all time. Outstanding. How did time go by so fast? I remember standing next to his statue at the top of those steps that he ran up in King of Prussia in Philadelphia and staring up remembering the movies and how much heart he put into them all. This was back in the early 90s, but I remember.

The street fight was the best part of this movie.. Rocky 5 street fight scene took the character of Rocky of what he did outside of the ring and took it to the streets... big difference.. loved it! oh ya touch me and i will sue... Sue me for what! LOL classic

x-player 2 it wasn’t a remake and Creed takes place years after Rocky’s wife death and lost his brother in law and best friend Paulie before the events of Creed. Creed 2 continues the events of Creed with Rocky being the long retired former heavyweight Champion turned trainer. Creed 2 brought back Ivan Drago to continue the events 32 plus years after Rocky 4 when Apollo Creed and Drago shares scenes with Rocky and wanting his son to challenge Adonis Creed

Yes Burgess Meredith filmed his scenes for Rocky 5 when was 82 years old and few years later by the time he was filming Grumpy Old Men he was suffering from Alzheimer’s which he died from in 1997

I don't think most people know this but Ivan Drago has a chemical engineer and has a genius IQ of 160. Stallone use him also in his Expendables 1 2 and 3. They're supposed to make one more. Let's hope so cuz they're all getting up in age.

Tony Esposito you mean Dolph Lundgren who has a genius iq of 160 and has a Master’s degree in chemical engineering and started acting after his then girlfriend Grace Jones got him his first role even though it was cameo in the James Bond film A View To A Kill then got the role of Ivan Drago after Stallone was impressed by pictures of Lundgren. Stallone wanted Lundgren to hit him for real and sent Stallone to hospital and nearly died but when recovering he gave Lundgren the role of Drago. The two actors didn’t along at first but have friends for years now and Stallone offered Lundgren the role of Gunnar in The Expendables series and to reprise his role as Drago in Creed 2.

You can say Rocky 5 was the worst of the franchise but it was a great movie you cannot say it's bad, it has great scenes of motivation and gives us a lesson to always have control in yourself. You saw how Tommy gun went innergetic

I love this fight...it’s so unique and like an indie movie style...very esoteric...I consider Rocky 5 a masterpiece not far off from the original...like rocky 4, its a fascinating cult film.
