While cutting always requires some energy, Haney looks drained here. He’s got a champions heart and I think he will still pull it out, but it appears this cut will compromise him more than previous fights. He looks very fatigued.

He looks a bit nervous, but coming from the Mayweather school of boxing is why I’m giving it to him, he trained with them as a kid, the curse of the belts is real, the fame and the “can’t do no wrong” attitude only few and far between can handle that immense pressure, but I predict he drops the belts after this win and tries to go for undisputed at 140, who knows he may be able to do it. I don’t see him going to 147, maybe in his 30s

His weight drain is making him irritable. It is just as much a mental process as it is physical. I think you will see a different demeanor tomorrow, but hopefully this cut will not affect his endurance in the matchup. Hard cuts can lead to a fighter having a shorter gas tank come fight night
