They changed the ancient meteroic ore Greatsword in the full release, needs 19 arcane instead of the 16 int now and has split physical/magic dmg with B scaling in strength and D in arcane

@@troyyodellI'm running the fingerprint shield with great shield talisman, and the black knight great hammer. This trivializes most battles as I can block everything and guard counter or just bash.

@@danielholland3991I still maintain that the Moonveil is a subtle allusion to the MOONLIGHT blade, since it resembles that weapon (and the blade wave is much closer in shape and size) more than the DMGS does. So you know... Miyazaki loves his Armored Core. And 4 and For Answer were the ones he personally worked on. I'd believe it.

They changed how the Lightspeed Slash looks. I prefer this one though. Kind of wish it threw out a bunch of clones before you slash down as well, just like the fight.

I main the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword. I love the lore of it being forged from a weapon of the “old gods”. Plus the flashy skill and speed are so fun!.

Extremely surprised you didn't add the highest AR strength weapon in the game that came with the DLC. The ANVIL HAMMER, crazy dmg weapon with a nice aoe weapon art. I'm at 2048 AR with it atm with about +12 on the DLC buff . Not sure you have the weapon though from the small snippet of your inventory. Another insane weapon to wield x2 is the Bloodfiends Blood arm colossal weapons with blood infusion. Does more dmg than the Anvil Hammer due to bleed. I used those to beat last boss on NG7+.

Sadly if you basically have any faith to go with that strength, you get much better damage with Flame Art infusion over Lightning (which is more Dex scaling). You also can't use Lightning Strike ash or lightning greases on it. Missed opportunity by From. For now my Mjolnir is a flaming hammer.

I really hate how now we have 3 same looking Radahn weapons, with 3 same attack strings, and all 3 scale with same stats with only ash of war being different. The "Lord" and "Light" weapons should've been 1 pair of weapons, but give them Stance as an AoW and then you use Consort or Lightspeed Slash based on input after : Stance R1 - Slash. Stance R2 - Consort. And then give us a proper 3rd reward from boss instead of this.

Lowkey the smithscript shield is so useful as a ranged option, c scaling with strength, I have it doing 800-1200 a throw on mobs (bit less on high resistance bosses). It has a 3fp cost and super low stam cost to throw, and it tracks your target amazingly. Threw on the fp regen talisman and it was essentially infinite.

something nobody seems to be talking about is the sword lance heavy thrusting sword from commander gaius. s scaling in strength gives it 950 ar two handed with 64 strength. absolutely one of the best weapons in the game.

I am using the Meteoric great sword and Ill say it has to be bugged on either PC or console. On console there is no INT requirement and rather there is an arcane requirement. Apparently the scaling if different between PC and console as well. Regardless im using it and its super fun.

Favorite DEX weapons maybe? I hope there's some DEX weapon that's not Dex/Arc (because I'm not too much into bleed). DEX/INT, DEX/FAITH might be badass, but pure DEX would be amazing! The main game has 2-3 badass pure DEX katanas and a bunch of cool pure DEX weapons, but in general I feel like there are more pure STR than pure DEX and pure DEX are not as strong as quality DEX like DEX/INT and DEX/INT/STR (at the same level/points spent of course - 70 points into DEX with Hand of Malenia is ~60 damage weaker than 70 points spent into DEX/INT for Moonveil, even Meteoric Ore Blade which is more INT/STR has more damage at DEX/INT than Hand of Malenia)

My Favorite is Claws of Night, High Dex scaling claws that strong attack is a throw, does physical and magic damage. Ash of War is pretty much rock sling but higher damage and does pierce/magic damage. The backhand blades have too long of recovery for me to really enjoy, shame.

Black steel great hammer pairs really nicely with horah loux earthshaker. Aoe + range on a stagger friendly weapon is really useful for encountering different scenarios 👍

Most of them are still good. I finished the dlc, bosses are fairly easy to poise break Spoiler alert Rellana, Messmer, Midra, Hippos and Romina are all very vulnerable to poise breaks if you know to play against them well

Radahns greatswords automatically become dual wield when you two hand them. You can dual wield by holding triangle + R1 if the weapon is in your right hand, L1 for left

What i wanna know is why did From Software decide to make the new colossal weapons having requirements for Faith, Int, and, Arcane? With a pure strength build putting points into those attributes to weild a singular weapon is retarded. Especially if you want a build and not a do everythig character
