Yeah. Milady looks and moves like one of the really long Han dynasty Jian, which is one of my favorite historical blades. The LGS move set is just so perfectly fluid and feels great to use.

I love the light Greatswords moveset. I can’t bring myself to use them because they DONT STAGGER ENEMIES. Seriously nearly every enemy in the game except for the little grunts poises through every single attack of Milady or Rennala’s Twin Swords. . . . i just couldn’t, went back to my flame art banished knights sword. This makes me extra sad because Leda’s sword is absolutely beautiful. It is aesthetically everything I’ve ever wanted from a paladins holy sword, and I’m now expecting it to be horrible too. Anyone maining these things got some advice, what am I doing wrong? :D Was really hype for these things.

How long does Euporia stay charged without attacking or using the special? Really important question I wish he covered in the video. Can you charge it up on random mobs and then walk to a boss? Or does it de-charge after not being used for 30 seconds?

Relannas twin lgs has been awesome the move sets the ash of war even with the split damage so far its my favorite but I haven't even got past the 1st 2 castles yet so can wait to see what else is out there

My favorite thing about Rellana's Twinblades is you don't even have to invest in all 4 of its stats to get good AR. It can suit any type of build. I focused on Strength and Int so I could use DMGS as well and great damage. And the faith part of the weapon still deals great damage even at the base 16.

Rellana's twinblade is like a dream come true for me who likes to always build around a spell sword character in games and use magic based weapons like the moonlight greatsword or moonveil. It's like an upgraded sword of night and flame. Hope they don't nerf it 😅. Euporia is just wow, probably another good weapon to play with.

If anything they are going to buff it, its not very good? does way less damage than night and flame sword and no poise damage. trust its not getting nerfed it already kinda smells

@@moyjoker It's not going to get nerfed since it's not even that broken to begin with. I mean if you make a build around it then yeah it can be a good weapon. But there are other weapons that are just insanly broken that it pales in comparison. Hell even the moonveil out performs it still even after the nerfs.

I did something similar too. New game, gave myself rellana full set and it was a ton of fun especially with her sister's staff and double moon incantation. I sometimes pair with ranni sword for the extra cool stuff

Some advice for Rellana's twinblade, you can double the damage of the moon skill by using it point blank, and hitting with the beam as well as the actual sword slice.

Rellanas swords are my favourite, using them right now, god...they're so cool. Plus Euphoria, that's a dope weapon. Haven't found it yet, but I can't wait.

To me Rellana's sword felt a bit lackluster. The lack of stopping power on the magic attack really brings it down a bit. There's another sword in the DLC, the Star Lined Sword (Katana) that has a similar concept of doing long ranged magic damage "slashes", but in this case it staggers enemies on almost every hit, so you can actually use it.

An additional thing with Renlanna's weapons, there's no guard. You swing the straight sword. Also, if you follow the heavy with a second heavy, you only swing the main hand weapon, but if you follow it with a light it swings both weapons.

God this DLC has such cool weapons, tons of added variety. Just sucks that you don't get them until really late in the game, it'd be cool as hell to play through the base game with a lot of these weapons in NG. Sure, a lot of them are super powerful so it makes sense to get them that late, but some of them honestly seem like they'd be right at home as early game pickups. I honestly kind of want to install Cheat Engine, give myself all of the perfumer weapons and play the whole game as a perfumer now.

The way I beat Rellana with my Int build was by summoning Leda who spams Needle Piercer. It resets the Frostbite condition, which allowed me to proc frost again with Death's Poker. It's not light enough to make into a major component of my builds (unless I replace my staff with it or something) but it has its uses.

I have a questions for the folk that use relanna's blades: does each sword deal it's damage separately (right one dealing phys+magic and left one phys+fire) or do both of them deal all 3 types of damage. I remember the case of night and flame dealing poor damage when used to attack because the three-split damage is extremely poor.

I'm going to use Euphoria when I do a playthrough with my 80 faith build. Right now I'm using Rellana's Twin Blade, which originally was a pure Dex build, but I already had 14 int, I probably stated as Prisoner, and I was leveling faith so it was easy to make my build to fit that weapon, and I decided to respec as 40 str, 40 dex (now leveled up to 50 as I want to get most out of the Katana's I find), and 25 int and faith.

Does Euphoria’s buff have a timer on it? If the charges run out then I’m not too excited about it. Let’s be honest, very few bosses in the game allow you to get that many attacks in quick succession. If there’s no timer on it and you can take your time with buffing it then that’s a whole other story.

One thing I don’t think you mentioned was that the Velvet Sword actually causes a new status, Eternal sleep. From what I’m seeing this is basically a stronger sleep that makes enemies that are afflicted with it NEVER WAKE UP. Not so mind blowing for bosses but for regular PvE you can just put an enemy to sleep and go about your day.

4-way split scaling does not work if you intend to stop at Lv.150, you end up with no HP, not defense and low damage overal, Rellana's weapon has a flashy moveset, but the dmg on it is pretty bad, Sword of Night and Flame is better.

Anyone found a good weapon for a pure mage with good intelligence scale? I have been using cold infused clayman's harpoon with icy spear ash of war since the start of the base game. It works so well and I'm not struggling but I want to try something new but I haven't really found anything yet around half way through dlc.

I love the dryleaf fists. Especially cold imbued. So fun. Will definitely get myself killed by not paying attention with them. Basically need to figure out how to get them on a fresh character and use them as my only weapon for a full playthrough.

If you’re interested, and on PC, there’s a mod that turns Kale into a vendor for EVERYTHING in the game. It’s been updated to include the DLC items so you can have any weapon you want for the entire playthrough without having to wait.

Rellanas twin blades is great if you are level 350 plus and can't cap out int/faith/dex/etc. But at 150, the damage blows since you're lucky to have even one at 80.

I have 70/16 int/fth with 25/25 str/dex and it's the highest AR weapon on sheet and also deals the most damage of all of my available weapons, given the insane MVs and the speed of it. So, that is not true at all. The base damage before scaling is already pretty sky high. Maybe just actually use the weapons first instead of looking at menu text.

@@dshearwf I did use it, this was the weapon I was most excited to use and when I finally did it was extremely lackluster. The problem is because I'm not just reading the AR unlike you. The AR is obviously high on the menu but the damage is split between phys/mag with main hand, phys/fire with off hand. And the aow is either only magic or only fire. With your build of 70int/16faith/25str/25dex, the attacks are gonna be weak as hell and the fire aow is gonna be weak as well. And 70/16/25/25 already probably means you are either level 200 or 150 with very little hp, endurance, and fp. That's the issue. It only shines at high levels where you can softcap multiple stats. 3 way damage split with 4 scaling stats is terrible no other ways to look at it.

@@alexwilliamson338 idk what you're yapping about. per hit those weapons deal the most damage of any weapon I came across so far and I've beaten every boss with them since I got them. The visible stats ingame don't mean much when it's governed by hidden MVs, which must be pretty high given my experience with it (didn't look at any datamine tables yet.)

@@dshearwf Then you don't know how to build other weapons. It's true the motion values are probably better than average but the poor split scaling at +10 stops it from being really good unless your level 200 plus. I did a simple keen backhand blades build at level 125 which has S dex scaling and it melts everything in the dlc and in pvp

How long does Euporia stay charged without attacking or using the special? Really important question I wish you covered in the video. Can you charge it up on random mobs and then walk to a boss? Or does it de-charge after not being used for 30 seconds?
