Yes Fijians were gigantic people with superhuman strengths who were members of the Burotu Empire that ruled the Pacific islands from the early BC decades to the 800yrs AD. According to Fijis widely accepted legend, every humans (Fijians) originated from Vuniivilevu/Vunilagi(pre-flood earth)which used to be located between Viti Levu, Vanua Levu and Ovalau. After the flood then they settled the islands between Nakauvadra, Naicobocobo and Ovalau. If you dissect those 2 explanations prior and after the flood. It points directly to Davetalevu Moturiki island.. That was even confirmed by the archaeological findings on Moturiki in 2002.
