Fiji style tin fish curry..aloo tin machree. Its my version of Fiji Style. Anyone can cook.
Ingredients:
2oz onion, 2oz ginger, chili pepper (depends) 1/2 teaspoon salt. 3tablespoon oil, cilantro (depends) Cumin seeds (optional) 1 Clove garlic, 1 teaspoon masala (curry powder) 1 Teaspoon tumeric powder. 11/2 cup water.1 medium sized potato. Potatoes depends on the quantity of people. For a big family of 8, 3 medium sized potatoes was good enough. Talking about mid 60's, LOL.
You can modify the recipe for different taste.

our staple food growing up, who knew its loaded with vitamin d, well then we went vegetarian in 1987 but at least I got that good protein for 10 years, we used to eat it for breakfast a lot, thanks!

Very typical and a commonly found as comfort food. It may be very foreign to others but to those from the South Pacific. Interesting video but could with a little food safe approach and use less of the sauce from canned fish and substitute it with fresh tomatoes and do not hesitate to add in fresh herbs like basil. It will bring in another level of taste - even the visitors to Fiji will take this menu back home.

Wonderful looking dish. A few things I'd change: stop saying 'Fiji style tin fish' so many times and please adjust your camera settings (it's blurry at times.)

The amount of times u say fiji style tinned fish curry and try to throw in words like "donga" only makes u sound like a donga donga 😖 seriously dude besti karata yaar !!! Its a cooking clip not a movie clip !!! Maybe next time jon falla kaila maare, give him to video !! Lol !!! One of my favourite Fijian dishes but man tum nass maar diya !!!

the no style .... why not just called it canned fish in curry. Leave out the brine as it defeat the real taste of a good curry. Rexneel Singh try it without the brine as this would make a real difference without it.
