As a mom who is continually worried about my daughter’s mental health, I fear her loss every day and cannot even begin to imagine the hardship of losing a grown son/daughter. Cori, I finished my book! My daughters and hubby loved it. I was sharing it with them at our Mother’s Day brunch and the owner was mesmerized by the book and pages, which tickled me so much. Thanks again for showing us how to make such a fantastic heirloom. I used special stamps and ephemera from my stash and it was such fun to do. It took me about 3 months, however, I was entertained the entire time. Plus, it has given me great ideas for future projects, thanks to all the videos showing how to make ephemera bits.

Hello Cori, It has taken me a while to send you this. I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my 8 year old grandson, so I know what you ate going through. I wish I could make it all better. My heart is heavy. The only thing we can do is keep going forward. It is so hard, and some days I am not sure I can get to the next. But, I speak his name everyday and that helps (a little). Keep you chin up, and on a lighter note, I am glad you could use some of the goodies I sent to you. It put a smile on my face. xoxo

I would love to see how you utilize some cardstock that has a little brighter colors into vintage ephemera pieces. I have so many scraps from my Scrapbook days that I hate to get rid of. I’ve used all my browns, greens, craft etc. colors, but now I’m stuck with the brighter ones that I don’t know how to handle.
