When i moved to America from the Philippines the people that i befriended with were Russians. They are the nicest people i ever met. They invite me to their homes for a nice Russian meal. Don’t deprive your mom to taste authentic Filipino dishes. Enjoy her stay in the Philippines & let her experience to eat Filipino breakfast, like tapsilog, longsilog, tocilog, red egg, right way to cook pancit bihon, sotanghon, pala ok, etc empanada, fresh lumpia meat like pork lechon, beef tapa, chicken inasal, fresh fish especially or seafood in the Philippines but in moderation. Remember this is only once in her lifetime to experience Filipino dishes and culture to come to the Philippines. Let her also try to eat delicacies of Davao and the famous durian.
