un anak ko nag aral din mag salita at sumulat ng Russian 70% napo siyang Fluent bibihira lang ang Pilipino na marunong ng Wikang Ruso. Proud ako sa anak ko.

Nice video! My advice is though I understand your excitement and you tend to cut in while he is talking, so try minimize that. But overall its an awesome conversion. 😊

Once Lithunia gained independence from USSR, they probably dropped everything about Russia including the school language and replaced it with their own plus English.

Latvia sounds interesting. The guy you spoke with said he NEVER spoke in Russian until meeting you, could it be that that he already stock vocabs in Russian before and was able to use it with you?

Crazy right?? Yes like he said, Russian is common knowledge in Lithuania for the older people. But since he lives in Lithuania, they speak in Lithuanian. I don't know; it's crazy. I can't explain how he speaks it well without speaking it. Maybe it's because of the amount of content he has watched since he was a kid. And hearing Russian here and then. Looks like we can make a theory out of this one 😅

Similar scenario (I dont know if you have already heared this) about a British guy who passively learned Chinese when he was in highschool, didnt use nor speak it after taking the course, he got into an accident and woke up from a coma, speaking Chinese fluently after. I think Xiaoma did a video of him on his channel

@@ZappyLifeyeah i think their case is the same. This also proves my theory that having a lot of input in a language will really help you learn it. There are also cases of people who were mute since birth who spoke in a language fluently after being cured.

yes could mean both ways. as you can see in my video, the subtitle says "okay" but the dictionary that appeared on the left says "clear". depends on the context. It is a very flexible word

They all Slavic language, it's just Russia is the mother tongue of all Slavic language, and has the largest population in all Slavic speaking countries.

Baltics are not slavs, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Czech, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bulgaria are Slavic. And Russian is not the mother tongue, it's something called proto-slavic.
