Introduce Spanish as a non-graded subject, as some words or phrases to play with. Filipino children will realize that lots of commonly words are actually Spanish.

SOB in Russian and Polish are similar. sukin syn in Russian. sukinsyn in Polish. At the end of the Patton movie, the Russian marshall wishes a toast. Patton said I will not toast that SOB. The marshall says SOB in Russian. Patton and the Marshall toast to the SOB lol.

Those are not dialects but languages. Tagalog, Kapampangan, Cebuano, Hiligaynon, Waray, Ilokano, Bikolano, Ivatan, and etc. are langauages. This is the test whether a certain tongue is a language or a dialect: Mutual Intelligibility Test - • Can speakers of the two forms of speech understand each other without prior study or exposure? • If yes, they might be dialects of the same language. • If no, they might be distinct languages. My grandmother (before the tv, etc) didn’t understand Tagalog, Kapampangan, Ilokano, Bikolano or any languages. She only understood Ilonggo (Hiligaynon). Dialects are those variants of a language. A Bulakenyo totally understands what a Batangueno speaks although there are some differences in words they use. A Cebuano totally understands a Davaonon even though there may be some word differences. A Northern Samar Waray totally understands a Leytehanon even though some words vary. These are dialects. I hope the woman talking in the video should read this.
