I’m not even a cook!! I somehow fed my kids but I’m not “into” cooking. However, this young, beautiful, vibrant personality has me paying attention & wanting to try some recipes!! I love her for giving me such a different perspective, for not being snooty but SWEET in her manner of speaking, she could be my own child!! I love shepherd's pie, but I've never heard of this before! When I was growing up, my mom cycled through the same five or six Filipino dishes on repeat. If this had been one of them, I may have come home for dinner more often.

Hi. Thanks for sharing this. Just wanted to share that this is NOT a Fil comfort food. An example would be- Adobo, Tapsilog, etc. The yellow and purple yam are commonly used for desserts actually. I guess this is more of a fusion.
