Never experienced from my parents but all my cousins did from their moms and our grandmamas. 😂 I only experienced once from my grandpa when i was also accussed of getting a very big ripe guava in their garden. 😂 I hate guava sticks and branches 😂

I'm not Fillipino, I'm white American but my mom would use wooden spoons, hangers, belts, Hotwheels tracks, willow branches, and she even went after my sister with a 2x4. My mom could pick us up and set us down so hard our teeth would rattle! We didnt mess with mom, and if she told my dad that was The Worst!!! I miss them both so much!!!!!!!!

Beginners kit : tsenelas , brooms Advance kit : hangers , belt Veterans kit : salt , mong beans , 2 Old Hard Covered Meriams or Webster Dictionary + tangkay ng malungay(plant) This is where you’ll realized that a combination of harmless items like kitchen recipe , a book and a plant 🌱 is nxt lvl shit.. 🤣🤣

Oh that was my Pinay mom...hahaha...i can relate. I am very good in hiding in the house or avoiding mom's wooping strikes..Name it broom, hanger, umbrella, laddle , branch of a tree. I don't know if this is appropriate to call the "traditional discipline " our parents do during 80's and 90's but this is relatable.My mother works overseas when I was a kid.So my father take good care of me. One day,I went swimming in the river with my playmates.He got so mad.He was so afraid I'm gonna drown in the river since I'm not an expert swimmer. Before ,he keeps telling me not to go swimming in the river but I'm hard headed.And so I've experience a different type of PAMALO.😅

Kaya that time maraming takot sa magulang at madami bata ang disiplinado, pero in right way na pagpaparusa ha kya natututo ang bata, nakakalungkot sa panahon ngayon maraming bata ang mas matapang pa sa magulang kapag nasaktan konti child abuse na agad.. This was a form of disipline when i was young i remembered my mom will spank me when i have done something wrong. It created a sense of fear in me not to do wrong BUT it also created a sense of responsability and respect couse it will teach you to take care of you home & self and the people around you

He you guys love you reaction about the Philippines, we Filipino's scared of slipper, walis tambo and hangger they punished us if we don't cooked or wash the dishes or even going home late. But in the end they treat you a food to forgive. So you need to finish the house chore before playing games or going out. I've encountered that too when I was young. So relate.

Really miss my mom... She's living with sister now .. After the beating she will let you know what you have done wrong and make sure you won't do it again.. then tell you that she loved you very much and she doesn't want to beat you and it's heartbreaking for them cause she don't want you to grow up iresponsible cause people will not like you or accept you if you act that way.. no one will accept you if you have an i'll manners... miss my mom..

That reminds me when I was 9 yrs old, my mother got mad when she came home that I haven't cooked anything yet. As if she gave me money to buy food. I was hit by a "walis tingting" (which is a bunch of coconut midrib tied together as broom) while kneeling down hand spread. That was my Filipino mom, 36 yrs ago. So I can relate to that.
