For everyone confused why the little boy in the black shirt mentioned COVID he’s probably referring to something he read, saw, or heard about COVID being related to homosexuals. During the early stages of the pandemic in South Korea, a lot of the cases were being linked to gay clubs so for a while some people thought that gay people were the only ones spreading it.

@ElijahBrewer
@ElijahBrewer 2 жыл бұрын
@@caizyrivers4485 no, it’s not that simple. They didn’t think that covid was spreading because of gay people. The problem comes in discrimination against the gay community and people not being able to open up to their families. There was an incident towards the beginning of the pandemic where covid cases had been reported at a gay club, but no one was willing to report that they were at the club because they didn’t want their families to find out they were gay, which meant that people who had gone to the club weren’t doing the obligatory 14-day quarantine. It was not a case of “GAY PEOPLE MEANS CORONA!!!” It was more “Corona is spreading faster because gay people aren’t taking the necessary precautions.”
@rileyd593
@rileyd593 2 жыл бұрын
@@ElijahBrewer so like the aids crisis. it took the government 4 years to address the aids virus as the only people getting it were gay men and drug addicts. if you had aids back in the 80’s (maybe even the 90’s, i’m not sure) it was likely you’d be disowned and die alone in the hospital.

It took a while living there and meeting people to differentiate them, and I later lost the ability to tell apart Asian faces accurately, the kid is probably having that same problem🤣😂but seriously, their hair colours are different tho, I understand not being able to tell apart different blondes and brunettes but they both completely different races😂😂

@@kawansiesquad6659 you mean to tell me you're so stupid that you can tell an Asian apart even though their sole goal is to all look alike anyways, but if a brunette and a blonde were to walk in a room wearing a same shirt you wouldn't be able to? One thing if you were in a place where everyone had the same hair color and eye color, but this is Australia we are talking about. Besides the excessive tans and dyed hair there's no way in hell you can just easily not tell them apart considering the fact that Australians have different eye colors, hair colors, and skin tones over an Asian where their beauty standards has everyone striving to look like clones. The only way that's believable is if the group of Australians you were with all had the same hair color and similar eye color, I lived in Japan for four years and Korea for three and I could STILL tell people apart. The only thing that changed was that I was able to differentiate Asians

@@lobsterjohnson8642 you are oversimplifying a very complex matter. It's obvious, and demonstrate by science, that social norms affect kids education, and if affects boys and girls differently. That's not being mature. Girls and women are just always more open to accept good things, bad things and nonsense altogether as long as these are all well presented visually or audibly. Especially if their peers are on board with it. Boys see it more from a logical point of view, it comes down to the core of the argument itself. This is why you will find more more diverse ideals among men than women. Hence your "all over the place" opinion. Now whether those are good or bad ideals, I will let a moralist decide I guess.

like another person in the comments said, educating is so important. i'm a lesbian, and most of what i watch/listen to (movies, artists, youtubers, etc.) are lgbt+ so every time my little sister reacts negatively towards the wlw/mlm scenes or lyrics or to masculine women and feminine men, i would just ask her "what's funny? why are you laughing?" and when she tells me it's weird, i just explain to her that it's totally normal. now she's completely supportive of all that and doesn't mind it at all, and doesn't make any side comments when i watch my gay little shows and listen to my gay little songs lol it really doesn't take much for a child to realize how normal all of this is. kids aren't born with hatred in their hearts like that, they're born bratty, yes, but homophobia, racism, all sorts of discrimination are usually taught and learned
