Filipino nurses are probably the most caring and compassionate nurses in the world. They are genuinely kind-hearted and hardworking.

I'm in New Jersey, USA. I suffered two life-threatening illnesses in less than 18 months: bacterial meningitis in January of 2018 and covid in April of 2020. I was in two different hospitals but was cared for both times by Filipina nurses, any one of whom may very well have saved my life. They're really the best at what they do and Francis Belliza has the makings of a great nurse. Ten years of experience back home makes a world of difference. When I reach my last moments, I want someone like him at my deathbed.

The Head Nurse Coordinator, made her best to put Nurse Francis at ease. Now I understand why, my friend who worked in UK..was allowed to bring his family with him. This is to combat home sickness & help them stay longer in the country. Moral support is needed, even if they are not foreign nurses. Nurses & all medical team, are over work due to this pandemic. God bless them all!😇💞

If the country can’t supply their own nurses , the Philippines is the country of choice.The money is better somewhere else. Although not in UK , my batch went to US in the late 80s, but I came with my classmates, and live with a bunch of Filipino nurses.The transition is better.Thanks to Beverly for what she did for Francis.It’s awesome this place wants their nurses happy. Well in reality it’s a pain to hire new nurses , train them then they leave. And you do the same thing over and over not unless you do something to retain them

Is it an overstatement to say that Filipino nurses, caregivers, nannies, au pairs, neighbors, coworkers & friends are the caring hands and loving hearts that make a difference around the world? I think not. At a young age, we're all trained subconsciously by our parents, elders, schools and communities to take care of each other, and to share whatever little time or food we might have, specially for those in need. In fact, we despise people who are stingy and greedy, because we love to share specially with our family& friends & even strangers. We are very accepting of any people and culture, because we were taught to be like that. Of course, we are not perfect as human beings, and despite the economic progress, there is still a lot to change in our welfare system and governance, but hell yeah, I'd still choose to be a Filipino and experience the love, laughter & warmth of my people, no matter all the hardships.

As of this time there are more hospitals in Iloilo City which sprout left and right. It is imperative for American and British hospital staff representatives to recruit Filipino nurses to work in their home countries. Give it a try as there are more nurses who have applied for work in American and British embassies in Manila and many have received positive responses. Keep on recruiting our Filipino nurses.

@piemiller44333 жыл бұрын
Sadly, stress is not an excuse for rude behavior just because you are charge or senior nurses! Everyone should respect each other! Superior attitudes like in the Philippines ... Hindi na uso yan! Kindness and team work amongst fellow nurses are more effective than being bossy ! Your RNs are also RNs... they’re not students anymore that you have to scold in front of others! They need to be respected and nurtured and taught with kindness. I don’t know why we Filipinos love to criticize and are happy to laugh at someone else’s mistakes, we should stop having that kind of negative attitude.

Franky speaking, there are still thousands upon thousands of Filipino nurses who are eager and willing to go to the United Kingdom. Just send your hospital representatives here to recruit more nurses. Days back we were told by a hospital staff nurse that they are more willing to go to the United Kingdom if given a chance . In Philippine cities such as Iloilo, Cebu, Negros, Legazpi, Davao, Cagayan de Oro many nurses are applying for work abroad and the United Kingdom could then make the paper processing more easy for them.
