My most unforgettable experience cooking SWEET SPAGHETTI was in the Philippines for more than a hundred guests during our Christmas Party. I knew it tasted good!
SWEET SPAGHETTI is commonly served during children parties. They loved it not only because it is sweet but it has lots sliced hotdogs. If you have the right brands of ingredients the SWEET SPAGHETTI is first to go on the buffet table! BTW, when the spaghetti is cooked with hotdog and taste sweet it is distinctly Filipino!
Here in Canada, I have an interesting and cute experience when I shared for the first time the FILIPINO SWEET SPAGHETTI to our neighbor. I invited Karen and Jalyn- the grandma and her granddaughter duo to our house and served them spaghetti. It was a big hit for Jalyn! When I saw her again, I asked how much spaghetti she can eat. Her answer was “from that post to the next”. I asked her how is it possible to get inside their house? She told me” It will pass by the garage door”
Katerno Foods channel will show you how to prepare and cook the FILIPINO SWEET SPAGHETTI. It is relatively easy to cook using very few ingredients. It is also not time consuming. The only challenge is how to reduce the sourness of the spaghetti sauce. There were three ways done: simmer the sauce for few minutes more to evaporate the acid; add condensed milk; and add sugar.

FILIPINO SWEET SPAGHETTI
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
4 pcs beef hotdog
900 g spaghetti or fettuccini
2 ½ C marinara or 1 can (680 mL) spaghetti sauce
½ C diced tomatoes
1 C water
4-5 cloves garlic, minced
3 medium onions
½ C evaporated milk
⅓ C condensed milk
2 T sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
