I really appreciate that these recipes are in Tagalog. Since moving away from my parents I rarely hear the language and feel like I’m starting to forget it. When I hear Mama Lulu talking it really feels like home. Maraming maraming salamat Mama Lulu!

The genius of the Filipino cook! Using cream cheese instead of ricotta or cottage cheese which most people would use. The dish is also very meaty which i like. One change I would make is beef powder over chicken. Everything else is perfect! Thank you sister.

Mama Lulu is amazing. She had 5 children, raising some as a single mother. She raised them well. Her kids are awesome. She’s a great cook. What impresses me mostly is her intellect. She’s as smart as a whip.

I love this, this is exactly how my family made lasagna on christmas eve / noche buena! But instead of cream cheese we put bechamel sauce/ cream. Maybe we should try cream cheese? Tsaka tama rin nakakatakot magluto sa pyrex tapos mabigat pa

Mama Lulu i love cream cheese!! This is awesome. Pngarap ko mgkron ng oven sa sarili kong bhay one day so i can cook many of your dishes. Mlapit na mlapit na Mama Lulu. I celebrated Christmas alone and even new year i will be alone here. Philadelphia cream cheese is the most versatile cheese when it comes to cooking. I use it in many dishes including lasagna. I don't use chicken powder or sugar but may give it a try. I do use ricotta, mozzarella, cheddar, cottage cheese and parmesan cheese along with the cream cheese. I mix all of the cheeses in a bowl and bind with 2 eggs and add basil. I also mix ground beef, ground pork, minced dry salami and minced pepperoni cooked in olive oil, onion and fresh garlic with a teaspoon of oregano.

I made this last week. Although we weren't fans of the cream cheese, the sauce was sooo yummy and super easy. I'll definitely make this again, minus the cream cheese.
