What's up everyone, today I am reacting to Tinikling, a traditional Filipino dance. I really enjoyed watching this traditional dance of the Philippines. They are so talented.

Its a part of our curriculum in Physical Education. Every August we celebrate "Buwan ng Wika". All of the school celebrate it with program at school including cultural and traditional dances. Poetry, folk songs etc.. Hope you enjoy staying here in the Philippines. Feel at home. Filipino people are real friend if you are real to them.

In the U.S. we celebrate Asian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Some schools and other organizations like to have special events that show Asian or Pacific Islander culture. The Tinikling of the Philippines has become one of the popular presentations lately. Last May, I did the sticks for Tinikling and was one of the performers for the Haka (war chant) of the Native Maori of New Zealand. Lots of fun.

i love tinikling dance when i was young and i was grade 6 i had danced it once i was so happy, well not from spans just Pilipino dance why foreigner always thinking everyhting are from spans im sick on it we're pilipino and we have our own too or not Mabuhayyy

Wow haha Filipino tinikling dance sorry late ako sa video na ito Tinikling dance, is really a Filipino tradition. tinuturo din ito sa school Pag naipit yung paa ayy ang-sakit araayy! haha SALAMAT ng marami GOODNIGHT nalang po.

The Tinikling songs are Spanish influenced but the dance originates from Filipino tribes.

I think its the sound of the bamboo you need to listen "tsig, tsig, thik" the "thik" sound is when the bamboo close. I dance it before and thats what i always do. I learn it at school before where you put in a grouping and you need to choose a traditional.

I actually went on a River cruise in Bohol last week for the first time and saw them doing that. It was awesome.

Learn from school because it is our traditional dance folk dance...tinikling.
