Maminka is a strong woman despite the fact that now that Hannah, Sofia and you kabayan have to go back to UK she does not want to show much emotions but deep in her heart she is very sad being alone again but not too long anyway. good that you kabayan understands the feeling of Hannah because what she is doing to her mum Sofia witnessed it she will do it to Hannah when she's old as well. we Filipinos have strong family ties too we do not put our old people in the nursing home because it the first place we do not have such in the Philippines. even if we do have nursing homes in the Philippines only the rich can afford to put their parents in there. and I have seen here in Australia that those who put their parents in the nursing homes the parents some of them feel they are being put in there so the children can have free time for themselves not to be bothered taking care of the old parents. many parents in the nursing homes are neglected they are being visited only when the children feel like it. the upbringing of Hannah she passed it on to Sofia which is to be caring and loving to her parents. praying for Maminka's safety hoping your plans materialise soon and Maminka will not be alone anymore.
