TIP! If the track points don't show up, try to click the box that says "Render Track Points" and also make sure you're on Active camera view. If you are having trouble with the "Mirror" effect part and can't find the "displace" comp, you need to just render the video you want the water effect on and try putting that on after effects instead and restart the whole thing on that newly rendered version of the video.

wonder if you can help me with another water related effect, Im trying to create the illusion of character swim in the water while the camera is underneath it, meaning I need to simulate the water movement around the character and also the top part of the character outside the water should be blurred and move together with the water

Hi, thank you for this tutorial, love it very much! Question here, is it necessary to make do a 3D tracking at the beginning? What if I wanted to animate it on a still image? Can I do it on solid layer?
