Moon with water reflection tutorial | After Effects

to add a bit more movement in the background. you can also use optical flares in the cc ball comp. to create a space nebula. Great tut btw

or u can adjust the scatter time marker to be a larger value in the beginning of the video then a smaller value at the end and it'll give the twinkle effect without the plug in :)

Tip: if PC cant render map displacement its error with fractal displacement , because your VGU has disabled GPU acceleration. Workaround: Export rendering of fract. displacement , import it, delete fract displ. layer and EUREKA !

Thank you for the great tutorial and effect!👍👌 But I couldn't make the animation smooth and looped. I wanted to make a nice smooth GIF, but I couldn't. Each new cycle begins with a terrible twitch! 😒😕🙄
