I've got an idea for treasures: Instead of a new player just getting Superior Kimchi in Korea and ignoring treasures later on because they don't get any, make it so that each stage will guaranteed drop a treasure, with inferior being the most common. In a nutshell, basically all story chapter stages like Eoc, Itf and CotC all guaranteed drop treasure, just that it may not be superior. The new players will see that even inferior treasure makes a difference and becomes motivated to get superior treasures. Also known as the plan to brainwash new players into treasure farming. :D

That would take slot from the grind that makes up battle cats but I'd agree Maybe atleast every stage completion increases the % of the treasures ÷3 for Inferior to superior respectively

I think that should only be on treasue festivel where your garanteed to get at least one of the treasures. But outside treasure festivel, you have a higher chance to get treasures than you have right now.

I feel they should change treasure festival to guarantee you a treasure you haven’t gotten in the stage yet so you don’t feel like you come out with nothing

Every time I think Battle Cats has problems or is a bad game, I try a different mobile game. Than I realize how much the mobile game market has fallen: mandatory adds, guilds/clans are a main way of progression, Events never happen again, they always copy popular monetization practices like battle passes, and temporary purchases are mandatory for progression. It makes me appreciate battle cats for not conforming to the lows of the industry, but instead have continued to improve and add to their game for free.

Outbreaks wouldve been a good system for grinding treasures if it appeared more frequently and more easy to early game players

I think having to do more extra stages just so that you have a better chance of getting a drop if you replay previous stages is still really absurd but it definitely needs some sort of improvement

@@LucasIVYT ngl outbreaks would be nice if upon beating them you got the superior immediately rather than it being just a flat increase in drop rate for treasure. By the time I managed to be able to consistently complete outbreaks I had managed to farm most if not all treasures thus rendering the increase in rate useless. 10 cf and energy bump is nice though, but incentivizing outbreaks through guaranteed superior drops would have been better and encourage players to try them as soon as they are strong enough to fight in them (though that aspect still depends on luck and as such it can still end up being useless with people coming back to fight them after only getting strong zombie units after treasure grinding. EoC + Outbreak revamp ideas are hard yo)

I do think the state of NP is fine but only because it gives Cat Tickets (Not Rare Tickets) a major role and makes them permanently useful. We were already spoiled by having Normal Cats be redeemed for 2 NP each instead of 1 and it feels earned as well since that upgrade is locked behind story progression which was as good a move as they could possibly do about it, so now that we get 2 NP for each Normal Cat I think it's reached a point where you feel like you don't have to actually wait a year to only upgrade one Uber talent to max anymore combined with the higher frequency they give us Cat Tickets with them being both in events and outside them. But I do fully agree with Ultra Talents being locked at lv60 being egregious for non-stat based ubers. Either make it lv50 for all ubers which is not easy to do and would still cater positively to end-game players, which was the goal of Ultra Talents to begin with.

Oh you haven't seen Evangelion? From what I remember from having watched it well over a dozen times (and owning the full series and movies on blu-ray) it basically follows the main character, Asuka, getting a job at Burger King Japan and her manager, Rei, being emotionally distant and a bad boss overall. All the while, this weird dude who likes CBT and Crankin that Soulja Boy, Shinji, shows up and replaces Rei as manager as his Dad owns all of the franchise locations in Japan. Together the three work together and depose the reign of KFNERV, WENDII, and the normally thin build of Japanese folk. 10/10 series highly recommend

The only reason I do not complaint much about treasures is bc I got lots of superior ones on my first try but yeah, grinding for new players is a pain in the a$$ My concern rn is Growing Epic, appearing on weekends and for 3 hours only? Ok, I do accept that. No 100% prob in getting the follow-up stage which is the one that drops epic seeds? Holy sh1t Also the cost for some units, Awa Odori's TF costs 20 red stones, 15 green and 1 yellow and for what? For a irrelevant stats' buff and Behemoth Slayer Ponos, are u fkn kidding me?
