@@fillman86I think it's the thumbnails are a bit bland and don't really catch people attention enough, also speaking of attention some parts of the videos are a bit slow so people predict that they're going to get bored and their brain prevents that by clicking off to something with an appealing thumbnail, mastering the art of keeping the retention high is really difficult with this type of content, I wish the best for you fillman.

@@Fluffy_g3 I do struggle with what makes thumbnails need, but I thought this one looked pretty cool :/ however I'm lucky to actually have good retention, usually between 30%-40% (the bigger you are the smaller the number gets, but generally these are good numbers)

@@fillman86 all it takes is some extra time put into your mods after release. go in later, smoothe out the vertices, assign sharp edges, blah blah. just take some extra time to refine it when you get the chance. you can also assign ingame textures to the materials in blender if you really want to nail the UVs for wrap compatibility.

IVE ALWAYS WANTED A SUPER GT MOD IN BEAMNG! so happy someone is working on it. with beamng's physics + with super gt cars, the race will be absolute intense!

With the car you used for inspiration, the Super GT Regulations stated that cars needed to weigh 1100kg (1150kg for MR), and produce about 300bhp for GT300, and 500bhp for GT500. 4WD is allowed from the years of 2006-2009 as the Cusco Subaru did use that drive train until it was replaced with the Legacy for a couple of years.

oh I didn't realise it was allowed to be AWD... did it dominate? I struggled to find information about the series. did it "need" to weight 1100, or was that just the minimum weight?

@@fillman86I wouldn't say dominate, but yes it was extremely successful. It being in the 300 class was it's disadvantage. AWD in the 500 class would have been more effective but illegal. Also the cars weight fluctuated each race due to penalties and race-win handicaps. Yes, the more races you won, the larger your weight penalty

@@fillman86So some cars weighted exactly 1100, while some weighed more than 1200. GT300 allowed the GT3 class to compete in the '10s and this is why it gets confusing. Those cars have much more than 300hp, but also have massive weight penalties.

@@fillman86 Honestly, to avoid burnout, I wouldn't press for more than that. Many a creator has sunk into depression from trying to keep up similar upload schedules. I'd hate to see you fall victim to that.

Fills mod making level is on a whole other level. There may be others better then Fill, but Fill still makes the mods we didn't know we wanted.

That "exhaust" in the front is for the turbo's blow off valve, you get more power venting it outside of the engine bay.

You made race cars, rally cars, race trucks, and rally trucks. Amphibious vehicles, and what not? I know, I think you should make a pistenbully, you know those wide tracked snow trucks on ski slopes. Use the pigeon body and stick some wide tracks under it😂

tracks are particularly hard to get right in beamng, so those kinds of ideas are on the extreme back burner :P

It looks pretty close to the actual race cars but one tiny detail, like on the "Skyline" Gr5 car you did, you should have lowered it even more and especially cut into the wheel opening. If you compare the race cars to the street version you see how much higher the wheel arches sit and how flat the racecars look cause of it. But that's a minor nitpick, overall awesome work and please keep doing crazy weird stuff in the future.

4:56 i never realized how tony the scintilla is. I knew ot was not alot bigger than the bolide, but it the size of a small Japanese 2010s sedan? How did they fit a 5L V10 in the back of that? Hold on, hold on. The engine bulked lines up witht he back doors almost perfectly. Irs almost like the sunburst was meant to be mid engine!

if i had any capacity, i'd screw around and basically do a car with a twin turbo'd V64V engine, it would have basically no turbo lag tho since the v64v already 410hp so its pretty close to max for gt500, ironic considering its from the 80's

race cars aren't concerned with turbo lag that much, as they keep the revs up anyway
