The great wilderness of Denmark! And I'm not talking about the Faroe Islands or Greenland. Time for a small Landscape Photography adventure!
As per usual, nowadays, it's all film photography and black n' white. This could be interesting.
Packing my Rolleiflex and Minox 35 GT and plenty of film. I headed overseas. Ok, it might only be to the neighbouring country of Denmark, but still.
Denmark may be more famous for its picturesque and scenic small villages or its beautiful capital of Copenhagen. Or, for us Swedes, cheap beer.
However, I would argue that Danmark has a lot to offer us photographers. One of the places I've had marked on Google Maps for ages is Thy National Park on the west coast of Jylland. Finally, I decided to jump in my car, drive the 5 hours and visit this place, dubbed "Denmark's greatest wilderness", according to the official webpage; let's see if it lives up to it.
Join me on this year's first proper Landscape Photography Trip, where I will try to capture this place's magic on some lovely Fomapan 400 and Ilford Delta 400. Shooting both 35 mm- & 120-film.
Enjoy this week's slightly more epic than usual landscape photography vlog!
And more to come; part 2 will be released next week. Stay tuned for that!
Love,
Oscar
P.S If you are curious about Thy National Park, more info can be found on their official webpage: eng.nationalparkthy.dk/
